On our search to savor on truly authentic Indian dishes, we’ve found that Raj in Fairmont Heliopolis and Towers is the place to be. Located in the lobby of the splendid Fairmont Heliopolis and Towers, Raj is the perfect dining venue where you can enjoy the luxurious ambiance while you savor the most flavorsome dishes. As we got seated we were welcomed with glasses of mango lassi along with papdum and three different mouthwatering dips. Moving swiftly to our appetizers, we’ve found a huge varieties and selection with a great share for vegetarians with a lot to choose between. For appetizers our choices went for Dal Makhni; a dish of butter black lentils and red kidney beans and we’ve had it with Nan garlic bread for an ultimate rich taste. As we’ve indulged our taste buds with the appetizers we got to the part where we were immersed with authentic Indian dishes. From tandoori to biryani and a lot more we couldn’t help but totally fall in love with the lamb biryani cooked to perfection making it a perfect choice for the main course. 68 | AUGUST 2017
We were delighted to know that Raj is introducing special dishes in their menu in celebration of India’s Independence Day starting August the 15th and till the end of the month. You don’t also want to miss trying Shrimp Tandoori Grill and Chicken Roll; two special dishes included in the menu. Raj will also launch a new menu in November in celebration in Diwali, and we can’t be more excited. What makes the whole dining experience at Raj really brilliant isn’t only the atmosphere or the authentic taste of Indian Cuisine, but also the very fine selection of ingredients. All the dishes at Raj are served artistically with very fine imported ingredients needless to mention in very good portions as well. We call all Indian food lovers out there; this is one dining experience you don’t want to miss.
