Hispano Italiana) to convert to a garden area > Improvements to the roundabout above the market to ease traffic > Bring natural gas to l’Ametlla at the end of the year, Natural Gas will pay for the installation of the pipes

> Widening and improvement to the access to the sports area, in order to improve safety > Works to the RENFE train station (lift for disabled and easy access for less able people) > Benefit from the District Law to improve the town centre > Construct a new plant to address the deficiencies in the sanitation (this has been agreed with the ministry) > Work hard so PENTA complete the works to the ronda litoral and improve the loud speaker system

> The construction of a Mossos d’Esquadra Police Station (the MP Mr Puig has already given it his approval) > Open a Local Police Office in the Town Hall to help people who cannot travel to the industrial estate > Create a Local Police Unit to patrol the rustic areas of the town > Increase coordination between the difference emergency services > Encourage more police foot patrols in the town centre > Using the new fiber optics to install control and remote applications to surveillance cameras and sensors, and any general communications device to convert Ametlla de Mar into a Smart City.

> Ensure that the Government increase the medical effectiveness of the doctors surgery > Construction of the new rehabilitation centre (at the moment it is in the provisional site next to the school) > Remodelling and improvements to the Pensioners Club > Reserve 8 free places at the residential home to be used when needed at the discretion of the Town Hall > Installation of exercise machines in the Bon Repos park so the elderly can practice physical exercise > Create a group of retired volunteers to take part in various community services (such as school transport, reading stories in the library, organise cooking or gardening workshops, etc). These tasks will improve motivation and quality of life

> Creation of the University of Gastronomy and the Sea > Organising an annual gastronomy show to promote local products and local restaurants > To promote the town through the project Tuna Tur and work together with Japanese tour operations to attract Japanese tourists > Development of an online outdoor sports guide (biking and hiking trails, photography, diving, etc.) > The launch of the project “Rutes Caleres per la mediterrània” > Together with the Fishing Guild, create a hallmark for fresh fish from La Cala > Create an online service so the citizens can do administrative paperwork by internet > Tax exemptions for business’ that expand and/or improve and for new businesses > Tourist guide by Bluetooth: this is a free service which allows tourists to download the information in their own language

> Promote the industrial estate > In all municipal works, local workers will be employed and all works to be subcontracted to local companies > Convert the port Estany Podrit into a swimming area, where only sailing boats may enter creating the first Catalan sailing port > Turn the beach at Estany into a nudist beach, thereby attracting naturalist tourists > La Cala VIP card to promote environmental events, local trade and leading to tax benefits and municipal services > Promote l’Ametlla de Mar as a tourist resort outside of the summer season > The creation of the ‘Entrepreneurs Space’ with the support of the County Council, to assist the creation of new business and help them source funding > Creation of a Municipal Trade Council to agree measures to help boost trade for small local businesses (free advertising, parking tickets, fairs, discounts etc.)

> Create 60 work places in the residential home > Carry out professional courses for the unemployed Begin the works to the great touristic project the Cami de Ronda (this has been approved by the ministry with an investment of 4.5m€). The most relevant points are: - Bring the area around Estany back to its natural state. - Removal of all roads and to bring Port Olivet back to its natural state. - Create a botanic park at the tip of Bon Capó. - The erection of two tribute statues, one next to the lighthouse at port Estany in honour of our village’s traditional fishermen. The other will be at Port Olivet in honour of the fact that this area has now been saved twice and to all people who, in their time, stopped the construction of a nuclear power station. We want l’Ametlla to form part of the ‘Cittaslow’ movement (www. cittaslow.org.uk) and to create, among other objectives, a quality regulatory council and, as such, achieving quality tourism

Also agree that at least once during the next 4 years, Barcelona will come and train on our football pitch > Continue to offer more activities at the municipal sports centre > Signs on the BTT routes
