The objectives of this submodule •
To discuss and to analyze the existing approaches towards the plans and the planning process • To comprehend the limits of incremental and normative planning • To identify the role of megatrends in the strategic planning processes
Questions leading to “AHA” principle (“new, exciting, moving””)
Before you start this sub-module, please answer to yourself the following questions: i)
Think about how your Country prepare the long term plans? Can you thing about the process of long term planning? ii) List at least 5 areas where you expect long – term changes in your country. iii) In your opinion, what is missing in those long-term plans? iv) Think about yourself: how important for you personally is the long term approach? v) How about the European Union? How EU strategies and plans influence on your Country’s long term plans?
