1. PEOPLE
Considering the fact that the building of Via Adriano has been abandoned for a long time and never been completed, there are no residents in it to consider for the survey. Therefore the group visited the other case studies in order to come in touch with the current users of the RST programme and understand their reality and expectations. By this exercise we obtained material helpful to understand the potential users of the building in the future and inform our design approach and strategies. Important to note that in the RST of Via Adriano the programme will be mainly hosting children and their mother, therefore those are the most relevant users we studied from the other cases. We consider the different scales of that family and so we provide with the design accomodation solutions for every possible case. Another step we took is to ideally allocate some of the mothers with children we met already and see the possibility of the space being appropriate and accomodating for their specific needs. In the following diagrams we unfold the possibilities our design allows and the flexibility in numbers and combinations of users for every unit or aggregation.
