Members of the ‘Stop Ron Paul 2012' Facebook group posted a thread announcing a plan to stage a false flag against the Paul campaign by dressing up in racist garb and pretending they were Paul voters.

“If you live in South Carolina and want to have some real fun with these Paulbots here is what we do- go online and buy or make your very own KKK robe, complete with hood (hood is important),” stated the post. “Then get some Ron Paul signs off the internet or make your own. Follow Paul around South Carolina and be sure to get photographed by the media. Again, hoods are important. All can be Klansmen for Paul. Black, white, Jewish, Asian- those Paulbots will shit a brick!”

Although the thread was hastily deleted, a screenshots can be viewed below.

Other members of the group liked the idea, with one commenting, “That is seriously a great idea!

Anyone wanna volunteer???,” as another asked where they could acquire KKK robes.

When one member objected to the idea, another responded, “Why not show the world the truth about the type on ilk that supporters Ron Paul?” – a bizarre exercise in circular logic given the fact that the Paul haters planning to stage the hoax wouldn’t need to dress up as racists if there were genuine Klan members who attended Paul’s campaign stops.

Indeed, polls show Ron Paul is the most popular Republican amongst non-whites, debunking the myth that his campaign panders to racists.

The man who started the thread urging fellow Paul-haters to post as Klan members, Jere Brower, has a history of defamation-ridden anti-Paul posts, claiming the Congressman wants to “legalize child prostitution” and is “against children going to school”. He has characterized Ron Paul supporters as “clinically insane,” while also trolling singer Kelly Clarkson’s Facebook page after she Tweeted her support for Paul last month.

According to Brower’s LinkedIn page, he works for Google as a “Field Operations Specialist,” specializing in “Crisis management, social media, media relations, brand specialist, event planning, event management”. A former US Army Specialist (SPC), Brower is also a Herman Cain supporter.

Browser now appears to have deleted his Facebook profile.

Another advocate of the smear, 1. Chris Collins, lists his former employer as HermanCain.com. Collins, who called the KKK plan a “seriously great idea,” also lists his activities as “Jackson County GOP”, “Tea Party Movement”, “Freemasonry”, and “Jefferson Georgia Tea Party Patriots”.

This is the second time within the space of a week that Ron Paul has been targeted for underhanded dirty tricks.

Last week we reported on how the media seized upon an anonymous You Tube video, purported to have been made by a Paul supporter, which offensively questioned Jon Huntsman’s patriotism because he has adopted Chinese and Indian daughters.

The clip, which was cited to imply that Paul supporters were racist, was later analyzed by an independent company who discovered that the video “likely….came from a source within or closely tied to the Huntsman Campaign.”

Rand Paul was also the target of a similar smear during his run for Kentucky Senator, when Obama campaign volunteer and long term Democratic operative Tyler Collins, a supporter of Paul’s opponent Jack Conway, tried to portray Paul’s supporters as racists by dressing up in a tinfoil hat and adopting a slack-jawed accent while carrying racist signs opposing illegal immigration. The Louisville Courier Journal even used footage of the man, portraying him as a legitimate Rand Paul supporter, in a video report about the event.

It remains to be seen whether Ron Paul haters will go to such extreme lengths to deceptively smear the Congressman, but given the establishment media’s zeal to characterize Paul as a racist, don’t be surprised to see Brower and his cohorts on CNN or Fox News at some point this week.

1. Transcript from Ron Paul’s House web page: Last week the Supreme Court heard arguments in Sackett v. EPA, a case of blatant federal agency overreach and abuse of private property rights. Without any proof or reason, and no chance for appeal, the Environmental Protection Agency determined that a small single home lot was a “protected wetland.” The owners, Mike and Chantell Sackett, were ordered to halt construction already underway, to remove all of the work already done, and plant trees and shrubs consistent with a wetlands environment. After making these costly changes, the Sackets then would have to wait several years for the EPA to decide if they would be allowed the use of their own property. Refusal to comply with these outrageous and arbitrary commandments would result in daily fines greater than the value of the property!

Outraged, the Sacketts sought relief through the courts, but court after court determined that they had no standing. The actions of the EPA were not subject to judicial review until a mountain of fees had already been assessed. This is just another example not only of how federal agencies wield enormous power over average citizens, but also how little practical protection our court system provides when such citizens are harmed by those agencies.

Constitutionally, when the government determines private property is needed for public use, it is taken through eminent domain. In that process the owner is due fair market value in compensation for any condemned property. The EPA not only refuses to compensate the Sacketts for effectively taking their land, they are assessing– or threatening to assess– ruinous

penalties that greatly exceed the value of the land. They arrogantly claim the power to determine how certain property owners can use their land, while assessing fines or ordering actions that must be undertaken at the property owner’s expense. All of this is done at the administrative level, with no judicial oversight.

In short, the EPA does not believe the Constitution applies to them.

A decision on this case is expected this summer. My fervent hope is that the Supreme Court will thwart this rogue agency and stand up for property rights and the right of people to have their day in court when they find themselves unwittingly accosted by the EPA. My own district in Texas is no stranger to these issues. Again, with no evidence to support their decision, the EPA arbitrarily determined Matagorda County to be an “Ozone Nonattainment Region”, meaning the air quality is substandard. In fact, the population in this county has been decreasing and the small amount of emissions reported from Matagorda County has actually declined in recent years. The Texas agency charged with environmental protection disagrees with the EPA. Yet Matagorda County, like the Sacketts, finds itself at the mercy of the EPA. New business and construction will be stymied until the Washington masters are satisfied.

Unless Congress acts, EPA bureaucrats will continue to inflict potentially devastating economic consequences on communities like Matagorda County and people like the Sacketts. Destroying the economy is no way to save the environment. A thriving economy and a fair judicial system that respects property rights and the Constitution provide the best protection of the environment.

Ron Paul Receives “Game Changing” Endorsement From South Carolina Senator Steve Watson Infowars.com January 16, 2012 Congressman now surging in Palmetto State GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul received what his campaign described as a “game changing” endorsement Sunday, as influential South Carolina State Senator Tom Davis, officially gave his support to Paul.

The Senator, a heavyweight fiscal conservative in the South Carolina General Assembly, is extremely well regarded amongst Republicans and Tea Party activists and will undoubtedly bring voters to Ron Paul’s campaign ahead of the “First in the South” primary.

A Public Polling Policy poll of South Carolina voters released Friday shows 30 percent of voters in the state identify themselves as Tea Party members. Although Ron Paul is and always has been at the core of the real Tea Party message, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have, up until now, polled the highest with self proclaimed Tea Partiers In South Carolina.

It is particularly important for Paul to secure Tea Party votes in this week’s primary, given that there are less independent voters in the state than in Iowa and New Hampshire.

“We’re excited and grateful to have Sen. Davis’s endorsement, as it carries tremendous weight in South Carolina,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “Sen. Davis knows a true fiscal conservative when he sees one. He’s uniquely qualified to distinguish between establishment candidate Mitt Romney and the conservative alternative to Romney, Ron Paul.”

Davis recently slammed Romney over his Wall Street connections and support of the banker bailouts: “He supported interventionist policies in lending, TARP and ethanol subsidies,

and he seems to support currency manipulation instead of sound money. Do we really know what we would get with a President Romney?” the Senator wrote in a statement.

Speaking at a standing room only Paul campaign event Sunday, the Senator elaborated on why he was endorsing Paul for president.

“At the end of the day, when I sat down, I realized there were a lot of good people running for this race,” Davis said. “But there’s only one person, there’s only one person speaking to what I believe is the core problem of our country today. The biggest threat to our liberty comes from debt.”

“There is only one candidate that is talking about this problem to the degree, at the scale and with the scope that it needs to be talked about. You can’t nibble around the edges anymore.”

Currently vying with Paul for second place in South Carolina, Rick Santorum recently noted how much gravitas an endorsement from Davis would carry. Hoping to secure Davis’ support for his own campaign, Santorum noted “To get an endorsement from someone like Tom Davis is a big deal. It would speak volumes to folks and make them take notice and give us a look.”

Ron Paul is currently surging in South Carolina, with the latest polls showing he has moved into second place with between 16 and 20 percent.

Over the weekend, Paul also raised over $1.3 million in a South Carolina Moneybomb.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Campaign manager Jesse Benton told viewers “We’re surging
