Obama To Unleash “Truth Teams” To Counter Negative Coverage Steve Watson Infowars.com February 13, 2012 GOP describes squads of supporters as “propaganda teams to deceive voters” The Obama campaign is to “educate” and deploy what it describes as “truth teams” to ensure that any attacks on the president’s record are feverishly countered in the run up to the general election.

ABC News reports that teams of Obamanoids will be launched initially in 13 “swing states,” including Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia.

“The goal is to ensure that when Republicans attack President Obama’s record, grassroots supporters can take ownership of the campaign and share the facts with the undecided voters in their lives,” the campaign said in a statement.

“If the other guys are going to run a campaign based on misrepresenting the president’s record – and their own – we have two options: sit back and let these lies go unchallenged, or fight back with the truth,” deputy Obama campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said in an email. ”We’re fighting back.”

Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski issued a response to the news, noting “The Obama campaign is organizing propaganda teams to deceive voters because Americans are catching onto the reality that Obama’s record doesn’t match his rhetoric.”

“How else will they mask the broken promises like introducing another trillion dollar deficit or the fact that the president continues to recycle the same proposals without ever seeing results?”

Kukowski told ABC News in an email.

This is not the first time the Obama campaign has deployed squads of jacked up supporters in such a way. In 2008, Obama’s 1. “Fight the Smears” campaign involved more than 1 million supporters in “public education” roles.

One “Obama truth squad” in Missouri vowed to arrest anyone telling ‘lies’ about Obama, and acted to otherwise intimidate anyone criticizing him or his policies.

The Obama campaign 1. asked supporters to report any negative press or emails to the White House.

The Obama campaign also asked truth squads to work overtime to refute every claim made by author Jerome Corsi in his book “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” – an investigation into claims that Obama is not a natural born US citizen.

However, the plan somewhat backfired when the squads began to re-write history and were called out for suggesting tangible truths were made up lies on Corsi’s behalf.

In September last year, the Obama campaign also launched a new website called AttackWatch.com, offering Obama volunteers “new resources to fight back”.

The obsession with denouncing and refuting every criticism of Obama by his campaign is a long running one. Perhaps the most dangerous proponent of such activity is the man Obama appointed to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Cass Sunstein.

As Obama’s “Information Czar”, Sunstein repeatedly called for an internet “Fairness Doctrine”.

Sunstein proposed an online model whereby any article or blog expressing an opinion of dissent against the White House or Obama would be mandatorily accompanied with an official government rebuttal on the same page Sunstein also outlined a plan for the government to infiltrate “conspiracy groups” in order to undermine them. In his January 2008 white paper entitled “Conspiracy Theories,” he proposed that “under imaginable conditions” the government “might ban conspiracy theorizing” and could “impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories.”

In effect, Sunstein stated that he wished to tax or ban outright, as in make illegal, opinions and ideas that the government doesn’t approve of.

Media Matters has 1. habitually attempted to denigrate and smear Alex Jones and his message of liberty, by dismissing Jones as a crazed “conspiracy theorist” and then connecting him to other targets of their attacks, people like Ron Paul, Glenn Beck, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Lou Dobbs and the Fox News network. Media Matters also recently defended Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security by impugning an Infowars story about the DHS targeting white middle class Americans as terrorists, and then deriding other media networks for also covering the issue. The organization has also routinely carried smear attacks implying that questioning the official story behind 9/11 is some kind of thought crime, despite the fact that six of the ten 9/11 commissioners have disputed the government’s account. A new investigation into Media Matters by the Daily Caller has revealed that the organization conducts “a weekly strategy call with the White House” and that an Obama administration representative meets with Media Matters reps at the Common Purpose Project meeting at the Capitol Hilton on 16th Street in Washington every Tuesday evening. “Media Matters has been in regular contact with political operatives in the Obama administration,” states the report.

“According to visitor logs, on June 16, 2010, (David) Brock and then-Media Matters president Eric Burns traveled to the White House for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, arguably the

president’s closest adviser. Recently departed Obama communications director Anita Dunn returned to the White House for the meeting as well.” Media Matters brags about how it works with the White House to control big media networks. “We were pretty much writing their prime time,” a former Media Matters employee said of the cable channel MSNBC. “But then virtually all the mainstream media was using our stuff.” The group also targets journalists who refuse to be water carriers for Media Matters’ propaganda. “If you hit a reporter, say a beat reporter at a regional newspaper,” a Media Matters source said, “all of a sudden they’d get a thousand hostile emails. Sometimes they’d melt down.

It had a real effect on reporters who weren’t used to that kind of scrutiny.” The investigation also reveals that current Media Matters head David Brock lives in paranoia that “right-wing assassins” want to kill him and is regularly surrounded by bodyguards. Brock also carries a gun despite Media Matters’ vehement support for gun control policies. As we have previously reported, Media Matters barely even attempts to hide the fact that it is a mouthpiece for the Obama administration and the political elite.

Media Matters is tied at the hip with Think Progress as part of John D. Podesta’s Progressive Media propaganda campaign, described as a “war room for promoting the foreign and domestic policies of Barack Obama.” Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff, also helped found Media Matters. The organization also received a $1 million contribution from billionaire globalist George Soros back in 2010. Podesta, who headed up Barack Obama’s presidential transition team, founded The Center for American Progress, which is tasked with “driving the White House’s message and agenda”. According to SourceWatch, “CAP’s Progressive Media project emerged as a major communications war room on behalf of Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agenda and CAP became a strong advocate for escalation in Afghanistan. Progressive Media is run through the Center for American Project Action Fund, the more political 501(c)4 arm of CAP. It coordindates closely with the Common Purpose Project, an effort to create message discipline among the pro-Obama organizations, with a direct tie to the White House.” Media Matters’ sister organization Think Progress, also founded under the umbrella of Podesta’s Center for American Progress, has aggressively attacked Alex Jones, even blaming him for influencing Richard Poplawski in the 2009 murder of three Pittsburgh police officers, despite the fact that numerous other leftist media organizations were forced to retract the baseless claim. Media Matters has now been completely exposed as little more than an attack dog for the Obama administration. The fact that Alex Jones is regularly smeared by this organization proves that Infowars is hitting the establishment where it hurts and taking flak from the very top of the power structure.

The 72 Threat Fusion Centers Were Designed To Threaten You 1. Video Rebel’s Blog February 13, 2012 There are 72 Threat Fusion Centers. 50 state based and 22 urban centers set up during the Bush presidency in cooperation between the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. They collect information from all 16 US intelligence agencies, the CIA, FBI, the military, state and local police agencies and privately owned corporations and organizations like the ADL and SPLC which some say should be registered as agents of a foreign power Israel.

A lot of their information comes from contractors. So just how many contractors does DHS employ? Senator McCaskill said DHS doesn’t even know how many contractors there are working for them. Some estimate at one time there was as many as 200,000. If you understand bureaucracies and contractors, you will realize that these people need to justify their paychecks by finding terrorists. And that probably already includes you because you are on the Internet and have opinions.

The See Something Say Something program has expanded the source and unreliability of informants to include anyone in certain occupations that brings them into contact with the public.

These include garbage collectors, cable TV installers and repairmen, carpet cleaners, dentists, doctors, truck drivers, cab drivers, clergymen, teachers, nurses and anyone with a phone who can call one of many hotlines. Callers can be motivated by an argument, a dispute over a bill or angered by a divorce. Millions of people are spying on us. And I guarantee one of them does not like you.

Some people just do not care what others say about them. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania had a contract with an Israeli intelligence firm linked to the Mossad that listed environmentalists worried about pollution in a local lake as potential terrorists. At the time I first reported this, I said the Israelis were worried that people active enough to get dressed and go across town to demonstrate over a threat against their health would also be the first or possibly the second ones to hit the streets after the dollar collapses and everything they have is taken from them by the banks.

Once you are listed as a potential threat to the community there does not seem to be any way to remove you from the list. Please note that you do not have to do anything or to threaten anyone to get on a list of potential terrorists. All you have to do is to become active in an organization that someone somewhere feels threatened by. This includes those private partners, the military and Israel. Obviously, anti-war activists will threaten the jobs of people selling weapons. But people worried about water and air pollution could also be considered as threats to corporations fracking (hydraulic fracturing) for oil as this process causes earthquakes and releases carcinogens into the drinking water. But you do not have to join any groups as the federal government has access to every one of your emails and phone calls. This includes other people in your house. And do not forget human error. As Mike Adams said, no IQ is too low to work for the TSA. The following organizations have been listed as potential threats.

Both pro- and anti-abortion activists have been considered threats. It seems only those who have no opinions on abortion are safe.

Environmentalist, Tea Party and Second Amendment activists are suspect. Of course you would expect antiwar people on any list with input from the military but they also included those in the anti-death penalty movement. The most well known case for abuse was the inclusion of all Ron Paul supporters and Libertarians. But the list also includes all Third party members which covers the Reform, Labor, Socialist, Constitutional and

American parties.

The lists have been expanded to include conspiracy theorists and critics of the government. Now we are talking about a large mass of potential terrorists. House Speaker John Boehner recently said that nobody likes the Congress.

I would tell him why if I had access. The FBI has said that any supporter of the gold standard or has more than a two week supply of food is a potential terrorist. I know for a fact that every Chinese businessman in the world would rather have gold than dollars. Does that mean DHS has to include every Chinese restaurant on its list of terrorist suspects?

In Virginia plans for a mega fusion center run by the US Joint Special Operations Command came to light. JSOC was headed at one time by four-star General Stanley McChrystal and was accused of being used as an assassination bureau by Dick Cheney. This mega fusion center was to use Internet data mining to select potential targets. The Tennessee Fusion Center received the “Fusion Center of the Year” award from Janet Napolitano, head of DHS. This is the fusion center that went door to door demanding to know how much food people had stored.

Of course fusion centers have another function. They are supposed to prevent you from doing anything once you have been identified as a threat. I will have to deal with what plans they have for Enemies of the State in the future. I do want to comment on one possible abuse by quoting from a fictional piece I wrote about a conversation between Naomi Wolf and the American President-elect in 2016.
