Empowering the Leaders of Our Future Workforce

Page 1

Empowering school leaders to cultivate the growth and development of Kentucky's students and create a learning environment that inspires success.

Through the Kentucky Chamber Foundation’s partnership with the Truist Leadership Institute and Kentucky’s business community, 520 public and private school principals from across the state have participated in the program since 2011.

Henderson County’s participation has led to a noteworthy increase in student achievement and academic excellence.

The Henderson County School District has had 18 principals complete the program.

These participants have grown in their leadership skills and facilitated improvements within their schools.

“When reviewing student achievement scores of schools, there is significant difference in the amount of growth in schools led by alumni of the Leadership Institute. While our district is proud of its continued improvement efforts, the growth in schools led by Leadership Institute scholars far exceeds those who have not completed the program.”
