“Working side by side with Alora to reimagine my designs has been, I am proud to say, beyond my expectations.”
Furrow
Inspired by Tridacna gigas , the world’s largest clam and a source of extraordinary pearls, the Furrow Collection draws on the ancient shell game, a dance of rarity and clever reveal.
Each piece begins with an idea, a poem, a memory something evocative. For over two decades as a solo artist, I’ve crafted every object in my studio by hand— lighting, furniture, and sculpture that blur the line between art and function. I’m searching for the moment when light and form become inseparable in natural materials like wood, steel, brass, leather, and stone.

“Each piece begins with an idea, a poem, a memory...”
Many designs start as custom commissions for individual spaces, later evolving into complete collections. Collaborating with Alora Lighting has allowed me to reimagine these works with the same spirit of authenticity and artistry. Together, we’ve preserved the integrity of the materials and the handmade texture that defines my practice, while sharing these creations with collectors and design enthusiasts around the world.
I am deeply proud and honored to present these collections with Alora Lighting.

“Each chain can be linked together from ceiling to wall to floor in a web of light.”
Each fixture, whether suspended, wall-mounted, or standing, links together in a quiet constellation of light, echoing the ancient web of trade and connection salt once forged across the world.

Natural alabaster stone and uniquely molded mineral glass diffuse light with a soft, textural glow, reminiscent of beach glass and the dust of the sea.
From the Roman salarium to sacred offerings shared at the table, salt has bound humanity in ritual, preservation, and communion. This collection honors that enduring connection, transforming light and matter into symbols of gathering, memory, and the timeless beauty found in the simplest grain.

The forms echo the ancient shell game, a dance of deception and discovery, where anticipation meets allure.
Like a treasure tucked away, Furrow embodies grace, intrigue, and the quiet thrill of uncovering the unexpected.
This collection celebrates the beauty of rarity and reveal. Oblong, pearl-like opal glass diffusers rest atop ruffled metal “shells,” painted in rich hues of burgundy, pine green, and dusty peach. Select pieces, including the table lamp, floor lamp, and wall sconce, incorporate deep walnut wood, adding warmth, texture, and timeless sophistication to the collection’s sculptural elegance.

Inspired by the surrealist art of Leonora Carrington, the collection evokes slender, sharpened silhouettes that occupy space like ethereal figures or walking obelisks. The shapes recall heads, tilted chins, and leaning brows, creating a dramatic interplay of form, shadow, and scale. Versus continues a design exploration begun in 2007, celebrating contrast, elegance, and subtle wit—a nod to the timeless jest of Spy vs. Spy and the enduring power of sculptural storytelling in the home.

Versus is a study in contrast, translating the human form into sculptural lighting. Strong metal cones in a range of luxe finishes are anchored on faux stone columns that resemble soapstone, each tipped with a fashionforward finial for visual intrigue.
“It was designed to emulate and embrace how the silhouette of a human figure occupies space. The cone itself, a scaled head. A tilted chin. A leaning brow. A cloaked disguise.”
