We believe that lately there has been a growing understanding about the potential impact of the ARTS on HEALTH. Arts can be used together with the classic health care methods in several ways: not only as a therapeutic activity for the patients and the medical staff, but also as a tool of prevention of medical problems. While, of course, we do not claim ART to be a substitute for classical medication methods, ART as an “alternative medicine” can improve the condition of people with mental or physical health issues.
ART PARTY S new experimental project in 2019 aims to investigate the capacity that Art may have on Health and to make these findings reach a larger part of society. We will explore this topic through artistic residencies in 7 cities in Central and Western Jutland. During this time we will drive a special ambulance where intimate performances will take place inside the vehicle. With the important presence of Kata Juhász, international dancer, choreographer and practicing doctor, whose dance show "Rechargeable" will be carried out in collaboration with local groups of elderly people, in the belief that art can prolong the life expectancy. We will also deliver different actions, performances and workshops for prevention and revitalisation, in the homes, on the streets, in schools, offices, theatres, museums, etc. The common point in our activities is that they will all challenge the quality of personal relationships. This will be achieved also through our “no wi-fi in the bedroom” campaign, promising to help the couples to regain joy with each other. The headquarter of Art Party, Bomhuset - Museum of Miniature Art will function during the whole period as “Art Emergency Unit”, where the artists can attend the patients by appointment. The tiny museum will become also an exhibition site and laboratory for a brand new and provocative installation: “Somebody should keep the rest”, a collection as a city’s amulet against all forms of disease.
The people will have the opportunity to take part in this experiment as spectators, but also as participating actors, and they will benefit the effects of the physical expressivity and the aesthetic of art as alternative medicine. The final part of the project, ’Art on Call – Genopdag Festival’ will take place in the previously involved cities, where the results will be shown in the framework of the European Cultural Region Festival – with performances, shows, happenings and actions in different neighbourhoods of the seven cities.

KUNSTPARTIET’S HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR 2019
1. We will promote Art as 'Alternative Medicine' and ‘Culture without Prescription’ (for the benefit of both patients and doctors).
2. We will distribute free Art vitamins, from door to door, in 7 municipalities of the region (we do not yet have a cure outside of Jutland's borders).
3. We will show, through Mediterranean traditions, how to avoid to get sunburned on a vacation in Italy or Spain.
4. We will finally be able to move the doctor from the door and eat apple cake with him.
5. We will legalise LSD stamps made from pages of literary masterpieces, as a new substitute-drug for the young people. (Side effects associated with Lorca-Shakespeare-Dostoevsky stamps may include: clairvoyance, idealism, hallucinations).
6. We will drive an Art ambulance and, for the first time in history, it will have a theatre inside.
7. We will introduce Kunst Vax® as a new vaccine against stupidity and apathy.
8. We will show, through a special garlic diet, how to increase the interest in each other as a couple.
9. We will give tips on safe sex and show how to reach longer orgasms (up to 1 hour).
10. We will collect urine samples from local citizens and distill them into an "elixir of long life".
The goal of these workshops and actions is not only performative, but rather to use ART as alternative medicine within the various sectors of health care. After completing the entire project, we hope to have given to the 7 cities the necessary tools for a continued self-exploration of these activities in the community. We will also make a report to show if the general level of well-being has increased in the community after our visit.

KUNSTBULANCE
ART SERVICE FROM DOOR TO DOOR
The Art Party will activate a special Kunstbulance service in the 7 municipalities of the Art on Call Project, and offer “Art vitamins" from door to door, in the form of short performances and shows, visits made in private homes, families, offices and in elderly homes. The service will include "pills" consisting of dance, theatre or music which can be consumed directly from the sofa in the living room, in the office or workplace. In the case of "emergency situation", just call us at 2466 7913 and we will get there soon! We want to hand out amusement and activate ‘Serotonin’.

SOMEBODY SHOULD KEEP THE REST
NEW EXHIBITION
Concept: Giuseppe L. Bonifati
Set design: Linda Sugataghy
Elixir and curse: the urine was used in the ancient medicine as disinfectant, according to Plinius in the Naturalis Historia, but it was also always related to the notions of fertility and aggression. Spreading the urine, during childhood games, was used to kill butterflies, to draw in the snow, to hit insects or even real enemies in battles between bands. Considered as a sign of territorialisation and independence, people was pissing against what they despised and, in a broader sense, against the dark forces of the destiny. Urine was interpreted as a magical thing, witnessed even by art.
The urine will be in the focus of the new exhibition during the spring of 2019 in Bomhuset, the oldest house and smallest museum in Holstebro. For three months, Bomhuset will become the exhibition space and “laboratorium” for hundreds of samples of urine, collected among numerous volunteer citizens.
The exhibition will be installed as an amulet for the community of the city against all diseases.
From the 5th of April till the 15th of June 2019
Bomhuset - Museum for Kleinkunst, Holstebro
COFFEE TALK
During each "Health Week”, we will arrange “coffee talks" in the Art Ambulance with 9 different local personalities, invited to have a coffee with the Art Party and to discuss about Art and Health in the region.
RECHARGEABLE
In each "Health Week" we will try to stimulate the pulse of the people's physical, mental and cultural health through artistic activities and performances. One of these is an exciting workshop for local groups of senior dancers, with focus on the value of being senior and on the examination of their experiences and thoughts, in connection with the fact of getting older.
THE CITY´S JOURNAL
On the last day of the Art Party's residence, we will hand over a report, "The City’s Journal", to the mayor of the city. The report must document the city's previous state of health and whether progress has been made. Among other things, it will contain an ECGElectrocardiogram, which records the heartbeat before, during and after the performance of the Art Party. We will test the difference in live with the mayor in his office and in our art ambulance.
The mayor of the city will also receive a copy of the document and he will have both his own and the city's health status at his heart ...

DANCE SHOW, 45 min.
Dance and choreography of Kata Juhász, with Kata Juhász, Lacek Takács (H) ond the participation of local amateur dancers
At the end of the millennium, two major tendencies have been seen as likely to challenge human civilisation. One of them is the increased life expectancy of the population. A growing longevity of lifetime itself will be able to transform the system of human emotions and relationships between generations and family members. In order to meet the needs of the society and the reality of the increased life expectancy, the solution may be to become able to recharge the individual. But to which problems does the "rechargeable" person lead? The first phase of the project is a study exploring the implications of a future paradigm shift and creating small scenarios capable to highlight the inevitable changes. The project involves a group of non-professional elderly dancers. Their thoughts, phrases, visions will be incorporated into the final performance, along with their presence, spoken words, and emotional movements which complete the choreographed movements of the dances. The final show therefore changes character from city to city, depending on the co-creating dynamics between the artists and the participating group.

EVA H - A TRAGIC CASE
PERFORMANCE, 30 min. in loop for 2-3 hours - max. 9 persons at a time
Concept and direction: Giuseppe L. Bonifati (I) with Alberto M. Guinaldo and Raquel Subirana (E)
On the chest. Between the second and the sixth rib, to the left. The tragic case of Eva H. was located right there, in that place. A huge heart ...
We will conduct this case on our "Art Ambulance", where we literally connect the territories of Art and Health by letting the audience spy on us and follow our live experiment second by second. Emotions associated with it: pressure, pain, blood, fear. But also hope, new chance, trust. How is it possible to express this atmosphere full of emotions through the language of art, and how can an art-ambulance become a scene for a performance? Who (or what) will be the subject of our surgical intervention? Professor Albert and his assistant Raquel will do everything possible for not to fail our operation …

Bonifati is an exciting and charming singer and his voice has good feedbacks from Danish people. But with reference to the Art Party's logo (the tomato), we don’t know how the audience will use it...

The Kunstbulance – Art Ambulance – has been widely visible on the roads of Central Jutland during the months from February to May. The Kunstbulance visited the cities of Holstebro, Herning, Struer, Ringkøbing-Skjern, Syddjurs, Odder and Skanderborg, where Kunstpartiet – The Art Party – held seven intense Health Weeks and offered Art as a form of alternative medicine and treatment for the improvement of mental and physical health in the communities, with focus on dementia, nutrition, hearing, vision, physical activity, handicap, longevity and also sexual awareness. The entire "Art on Call" project has been recorded on video, with the purpose of documenting the work process, creating a visual diary of the residencies. The docu-film will be shown in the local libraries during the festival.

KUNSTPARTIET
“A new spirit hovers over Jutland: the spirit of the art party! We believe in this simple truth: Striving for beauty through art.”
From January 2016, the citizens of Jutland’s municipalities have been able to experience a special “Party”, made by the Italian performer Giuseppe L. Bonifati, alias “Jeppe”, and his Hungarian “First Lady”, Linda Sugataghy, from the International DOO Performing Arts Group. The aim was to reach people through Art, so Giuseppe has established KUNSTPARTIET, “The Art Party”, and realised interactive performance events in the Jutland region, in collaboration with Holstebro Municipality and other municipalities in Jutland, the Danish National Arts Foundation, Aarhus 2017 European Capital of Culture and the Nordic Theatre Laboratory.
AIMS
a) to use ART as a social catalyser for all citizens and trigger a process of empathy and reciprocity;
b) to appreciate variety and diversity;
c) to generate cooperations between citizens, associations and institutions through artistic performances;
d) to approach "the unexpected”
MAYOR IN RESIDENCE (January 1, 2016 - June 18, 2017) was the longest performance project and "election campaign" ever made by a couple of artists. Giuseppe L. Bonifati (IT) and Linda Sugataghy (HU) played the role of Jeppe and Linda (Candidate and First Lady) in Holstebro for 18 months. In the Jutland region, they have been in contact with thousands of citizens as well as cooperating with several cultural and artistic institutions to realise their monthly programs of performances, actions, performances and events.
KUNST SOM FORSVAR (2018). In its second interdisciplinary project, along with several national and international artists, KUNSTPARTIET / ART PARTY acted regionally as well locally and transformed its headquarter, BomhusetMuseum for Miniature Arts, into a dreamlike video installation running 24/7. The group traveled from Hirtshals to Aabenraa, from Odder to Esbjerg and Odense, from the Art Museums to Cold War bunkers and from theatre scenes to the of asylum centers, all for the aim to spread the Arts Party’s messages to adults and youth: from kindergarten children to high school students and to politicians.
ART ON CALL (2019). The Art Party's new experimental project in 2019 aims to to reach a larger part of society and to RECONSIDER the potential influence that art may have on health. We will revise this topic through artistic residencies in 7 cities in Central and Western Jutland. During this time we will drive a special ambulance where intimate performances will take place inside the vehicle. With the important presence of Kata Juhász, international dancer and practicing doctor, we will also deliver different activities, actions, performances and workshops for prevention and revitalisation, in the homes of citizens, on the streets, in schools, offices, theatres, museums, etc.
