A separate letter of invite will be sent to the parents of these year groups. The evenings will be held in the main hall and please enter by the Brook Road entrance. I am pleased to announce that we are still on track to take procession of the new Brook Building by the end of the month. The Heads of Faculty had a site tour this week and are really excited about the plans for the new addition to the school. Our sixth formers can’t wait to have access to the new study centre. You may have noticed that we have renamed registration to lesson 1. This is to emphasise how important every minute is in school and it begins with lesson 1 at 8:40am prompt. As a school we are committed to the core values of aspiration, respect and endeavour and want students to embrace diversity and adopt a healthy life style. We have launched our revised ‘Character and Culture’ programme for all year groups. This programme is being delivered by tutors during lesson 1. Topics included in the programme range from, Well Being, Leadership, E-safety and Oracy . The programme supports our school ethos and develops skills and attributes in leadership, organisation, resilience, initiative and communication (LORIC) and will support our careers, guidance from year 7 to 13.
