• Start a moving file for receipts, contracts, and correspondence.

• Measure furniture and doorways at your new home to check access.

• Collect spare keys from neighbours or relatives.

THE DAY BEFORE MOVING

• Pack valuables, important documents, and jewellery separately.

• Charge phones, tablets, and laptops.

• Keep a toolkit handy (screwdriver, Allen keys, tape measure).

• Disconnect appliances (washing machine, cooker).

• Set aside snacks and drinks for moving day.

MOVING DAY
