Message from the CEO
28 years serving Peru
At Komatsu-Mitsui Maquinarias Peru (KMMP), we firmly believe that our purpose is to provide solutions and services that transform lives, drive the country’s development, and promote the sustainable growth of the industries we serve and the communities around us. The year 2024 has been a decisive milestone on that journey.
Thanks to the commitment and dedication of our entire team, and to our clients, we closed the year with sales growth of over 10%. This achievement allows us to continue along our path of sustainable growth. Among the factors driving this evolution was the strategic integration with Komatsu Mining Corp Peru (KMCP), which enabled us to expand our operational coverage with a new plant in La Joya, Arequipa, and to add to our portfolio P&H rope shovels, electric loaders, drills, and underground mining equipment. Today, we have a comprehensive offering for the mining sector, with a privileged position in the southern mining corridor.
Our purpose is to provide solutions and services that transform lives, drive the country’s development, and foster the sustainable growth of the industries we serve and the environment around us
We are a company that aspires to be much more than its economic results”

This integration has allowed us to become the sole distributor of the Komatsu and Cummins portfolios in Peru, with a unified, efficient, and client-focused offering that is better aligned with the needs of our customers in both surface and underground mining, as well as construction. During 2024, we took important steps in our organizational transformation. We restructured our internal operations with the creation of three new General Management areas: the General Management of Mining Equipment & Aftermarket, the General Management of Mining Services & KRCP (Komatsu Reman Center Peru), and the General Management of Construction & Underground Mining. Together with the General Management of Cummins, these new divisions strengthen our ability to face market challenges, consolidate our operational efficiency, and align our objectives with a longterm sustainable vision.
These efforts have been recognized in several ways. For the second consecutive year, we were included in the Merco ESG Ranking, achieving third place within the industrial sector and 63rd nationwide. In addition, we once again received the recognition of Sustainable Management Company, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability.
We are a company that aspires to be much more than its economic results. We continue working for the well-being of our people, for generating a positive impact in the communities where we operate, and for creating sustained value for our clients, partners, and for the country in which we believe and will continue to invest. Together, we continue building a sustainable future.

PRINCIPLES
Technological innovation
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and sustainability, we implement technological solutions, including: Environmental solutions: Introduction of new equipment to the Peruvian market
Rope Predict Monitoring (RPM)
Pioneering program in predictive monitoring of lift ropes for electric shovels. Predicts the optimal time to change ropes, preventing failures that could generate losses of up to US$350,000 per event. It also reduces intervention time from 10 to 3 hours.
E-Gemba: Remote Health Monitoring and Remote Operation Monitoring
For eight years, we have been developing the E-Gemba strategy, based on remote monitoring and operational analysis systems.
Through Remote Health Monitoring (RHM) and Remote Operation Monitoring (ROM), we collect real-time information on the performance of equipment and operators, evaluating operational skills and preventing failures without the need for physical presence in the field.
Virtual reality training environment for high-risk practices.
It allows technicians to gain hours of experience in simulated scenarios without exposing themselves to real dangers. More than 120 KRCP technicians trained with this solution.
Automated Dump Bed Inspection with Drones System that eliminates 100% of human exposure to operational risks. Detects cracks and defects automatically, accurately, and digitally.
At Antapaccay Mining Company, it was applied to 27 trucks, model 980, reducing inspection time from 10 to 4 minutes, requiring only 1 worker instead of 4, and completely eliminating CO2 emissions during the process.

Camiones 980E-5SE
We consolidated the introduction of the Komatsu 980E-5SE model in the Peruvian market with its incorporation into a second mining operation: Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde, with four units. The truck is equipped with the QSK 95 diesel engine, the most powerful and fuel-efficient in the world, helping to reduce emissions.
4800XPS rope shovels
