Monbijou park The analysis from the wind rose diagram, shows during which month the wind blows the most to the site. Including blowing in from any direction. It can be seen the direction of the wind blowing through the site from South-West.

Also, the strongest wind blowing to the site is during the summer from June to August.

Berlin straddles the banks of the River Spree, which flows into the River Havel in the western borough of Spandau. Due to its location in the European Plain, Berlin is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. About one-third of the city's area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers, canals, and lakes.

USER ANALYSIS

PROGRAM ANALYSIS

The Most of the users are students aged 6-12 years old, teachers, and parents when the student needs to show their work. Also, The local people who come to use the park beside the school to play sports or relax in the evening.

When entering the building, you will access the common area first. Next to it will be any classroom and for the administration and the last part is the sports hall including toilet and satellites. The solid line for public circulation, dash line for staff circulation and dash line with the circle is additional circulation.

The chart shows The population that comes to use the area. In the morning This is the time when children start to come to school. Including teacher and staff. In the afternoon will be students, teachers, and staff that because it is during teaching. Also, in the evening it will be a time when there are fewer children and teachers because of the end of teaching and more local people because they come to use the park.

CONCEPTUAL MODEL

CONCEPT

Because most of the winds blowing into the site come from the southwest. So, the block design is as if the top half was removed for using the top area of the block as open space. This will allow the wind to blow through easily to support the program that is open air classroom.

The space between the 2 blocks I want to design it like a space for children can go out to play together or relax in some way and because It is an oblique walkway that it can lead the people to walk to the park as well.

Concept: Balance (work-life balance and context around the site) German people clearly separate their working time and relaxing time. They will not spend time at work to do a personal thing.

WHY Primary school should have spaces for children to learn and relax at the same time so that they do not get too stressed out.

WHAT Around the site, there is the right area all of the green space and on the left the most are buildings. Which clearly separates the usage space. By bringing both of them together in the same site, but separated into different parts.

Building for the programs that can relax and not stress too much such as Activity room, sports hall and Art and Music.

HOW Clearly separate school usage spaces so that children can fully enjoy both learning and playing. The learning part is inside the building and the play part is outside the building.

Satellite: Part of satellite where people can walk up and sit there to enjoy the atmosphere of the park. Also, in the block at the back will be art gallery, smoking area for people who want to smoke or toilet.

Playground: The place that like the playground for children can go up by using the stair or the rope that was given to the children to climb.

Riverfront: The area where people can go for a walk and take in the view along the river with the stairs that can sit and relax.

Skateboard field: The area where people come to skateboard, with rides set up in that zone to response people who come to play tricks.

Sport field: The area where people come to exercise such as basketball, bar or running.
