I remember at the age of 9, I went to Labadee, Haiti and fell in love with the city as well as the country immediately. As I spend a lot of time in the Dominican
Republic on many of design trips, I am aware of the aid they provided in housing those that were effected by the tragedy in Haiti even though they are on the same island but are a completely separate country. Late last year, I learned about Heart for Haiti which is an ongoing effort to bring goods from Haiti that are created by local artisans or have collaborative projects like those above that are created by Rachel Roy (gorgeous horn bracelets, rings and earrings). A few weeks ago, Paul and I made our way to a fun event presented by Axe! For fans of the brand or those that are aware of Axe’s products – they launched Anarchy which is a full body care line. I am a girl that loves rocking stilettos, heeled thigh high boots and more!
