Taken at Kimpton Hotel’s Ink 48 Heaven Over Hell’s Kitchen Suite that’s a penthouse above my vibrant city where I work, live and am inspired by everyday. You’ll see cruise ships, the Intrepid, Times Square and the Zen nature of being able to see the city from an elevated perspective when prepping to go out as the sun sets whether it’s a dinner with friends, a fun night out or simply leaving plans to a night of chance!
Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 12: Pontoon in Navy/White Gingham & Tan and Cream “I love kicking back and relaxing on the rooftop and seeing everything that is going on below as well as enjoying the breeze. From Ink 48’s penthouse, you can see into Times Square as well as checking out the cruise ships going in and out of the port. I created a new design to Sebago’s collection known as the Pontoon which is a slimfit women’s driver that allows you to rock them with leggings as well as your fave jean fits. I love the fun tassel detail as well and the nautical look.”
Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 12: Docksides ™ Grey/Yellow, Grey/Cream (Kimmie is wearing) and Cream/Grey (in Men’s) with marble bottoms, Olive and Cream with Camo bottoms and White/Blue with pink bottoms. “I took Sebago’s classic 70’s Docksides™ to another level by adding in fun pops of color and thinking about the details with the fun infused print options. In addition, I introduced the Buddy Concept where you and your fave guy or bff can wear the same shoe but still have your distinct sense of style! A boat is not required with this look although I loved seeing the Intrepid from the rooftop. And had to pair it with my Camo Docksides™ shoes since my boyfriend, Paul’s grandfather was a lead electrician on this ship!”
Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 12: Cabana Brown perforated leather with women’s driver sole. “When I think about an easy shoe, the first thing that came to my mind was my love for penny loafers in terms of the general look. I designed a new body style for Sebago known as the Cabana, which has the classic penny strap look on the top but a women’s thin driver sole on the bottom. For this shoe, the entire look is brown and goes well with so many pieces. This is a great way to have a crisp but fun look or when you’re prepping for a night out! I’m loving that the sun is beginning to set and I’m rocking Ainsley, which is the perfect dress for Spring 12 when you’re out and about as well as Ted Rossi for my fab cuffs and rings

I love that the Cabana styles have fun pops of color and have gorgeous leathers that will look amazing with each wear! In
addition, Pontoon is super fun with dominant colors in keeping with the runways of Spring 12. These shoes are super lightweight!”
Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 12: Pontoon in Orange/White. “Right when you’ve decided where you’re about to go out, you have to think about what it is you’re going to wear and who should be out and about with you. There’s no better place to think about this then on the roof at Ink 48 and to kick off the night with a drink or two in their plush bar downstairs. You can’t beat the view as the city takes on another personality once the sun sets.”
