Dawn Stevens New England Relocation Director CRP, GDS, SRES, MRP dawn.stevens@compass.com Cell: 781.223.1966 Having started on her real estate journey 32 years ago as an agent, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her current role as New England Relocation Director for Compass Coastal New England Relocation Services. In 1999 a new opportunity arose where she was invited into the world of relocation by first overseeing the company’s license holding company, which then led into becoming the outbound coordinator, then the inbound coordinator, and eventually became the relocation director in 2010. Dawn served on the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Relocation Advisory Council from 2014-2017, having served as vice-chair in 2015 and chairperson in 2016. She has also been a LeadingRE Mentor involved with the Smart Start program and has been a frequent speaker on industry topics at various conferences. Joining the Randall Family of Companies in 2017, Dawn was tasked with the challenge of developing the company’s new relocation and referral division. Dawn quickly grew the department in a few short years to become the success it is today providing assistance to corporations, relocation management companies and assist our agents in making warm introductions on behalf of their clients looking to buy or sell anywhere in the world. Relocating transferees to and from our local market is Dawn’s passion. To be able to collaborate with the entire team of lenders, movers, RMCs, and our agents to ensure a stressfree transaction for everyone is what drives Dawn to provide service that exceeds expectations. She is a believer in lifelong learning and holds the Certified Relocation Professional designation (CRP), the Global Destination Specialist designation (GDS), the Military Relocation Professional certification (MRP), and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and has been a member of Worldwide ERC and the Relocation Directors Council since 2011 as well as a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the MA Association of Realtors (MAR) since 1989.

How she came to work in real estate: Dawn started selling real estate as an agent in 1989 where at a young age she immersed herself into everything real estate, learning everything she could about representing buyers & sellers, and negotiating the sale from her peers, mentor, and manager. Selling real estate at that time gave her the flexible schedule she needed while her children were young.

She has been married for 38 years, has two adult children, and three grandchildren. She loves to stays active by golfing, gardening, walking, running, and biking.

She has volunteered her time to numerous organizations including chairing the MainSpring Coalition for the Homeless auction committee for 10 years, helping to raise $150,000 for each event, team captain for Walk for Alzheimer’s for 10 years, team captain for Walk for Hospice, sat of the town of Hanson’s Football board, ran the Hanson Baseball league Boosters shed, and prior to being chairperson for Cub Scout Pack 34 was a scout leader for six years.

Starting as a sales associate, she quickly became a top producer and top relocation trained agent, assisting transferees with identifying a new place to call home. When asked to manage a prominent real estate company in Mansfield she was excited for the challenge as that allowed her to continue to grow her knowledge of the real estate industry. Being a manager prompted her to learn all she could about real estate for the next 14 years. With a thirst for knowledge that runs deep, she continued to learn and challenge herself by received her broker’s license and the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations in the early 2000’s. She joined the Randall Family of Companies in August of 2018 and has loved every minute of her position as Outbound Referral Coordinator. “Making warm, solid, client introductions on behalf of our agents to destination agents around the globe is what I enjoy most about my profession, says Gerraughty.” When placing referrals across the country she is quite often asked “Are you from Boston? It always leads to a fun conversation because she is a true Bostonian!

How she came to work in real estate: As a Realtor, she is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR), The National Association of Realtors (NAR).

She has two grown daughters and three grandsons whom she loves to explore with during their adventure Thursdays, doing everything from kayaking, hiking, and vacationing on Cape Cod.

Giving back is very important to Joyce as she volunteers for the Author Series held by the Kingston Public Library as part of the Jenny McLaughlin Life Long Learning and is a board member of the Jeff Parker Charitable Fund which helps families with financial assistance while going thru cancer treatments.

When not on the clock she loves to spend time with family, garden in her yard, golf & go on day trips. .

Stacy obtained her MA real estate license in 1989 while working as a real estate closing paralegal and title examiner. She has served as an expert witness in the MA Land Court, and she has conducted closings throughout the Commonwealth. Stacy was previously co-owner of a prominent Martha’s Vineyard real estate firm. Ms. Wallace’s diverse real estate background has afforded her the opportunity to sit on all sides of the closing table, which offers her a unique perspective and advantage in her role as a referral coordinator. With a keen eye for details, Stacy’s real estate expertise includes sales, placing referrals, due diligence, complex title examinations and perhaps most importantly, customer service. Stacy is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Jack and KC. She believes being a mother has trained her to multitask, a skill which has served her well professionally. In her own words, “I love seeing people connecting to people and I look forward to assisting you in making your real estate transaction a happy and successful one”.

How she came to work in real estate: Stacy’s mother was a successful real estate broker and appraiser who served as district manager for a large real estate firm and who gave Stacy her first job in real estate at age 15.

Stacy grew up in Basking Ridge, NJ and spent summer vacations on Martha’s Vineyard. She went on to study fine art and graphic design in college. In 1992, after working as a paralegal in Boston for several years, Ms. Wallace moved to the Vineyard year-round. After raising her children, Stacy moved to Cape Cod, being drawn to its great beaches, boating, dining, and shopping. In her spare time, Stacy gets back to what she loves most…art.

Cub Scouts; the Edgartown Federated Church Stewardship, and Capital Fund Raising Committees; the Edgartown School Principal Search Committee, PTO, and Future Problem Solvers; The Dukes County Historical Society (now known as the Martha’s Vineyard Museum); and most recently the Bourne Historical Society. In addition to donating her time, Stacy has also donated several of her art pieces to charity.
