The Design Academy centers on the principles of engineering and integrates with technology, science, math and the arts. MARCH 14-18: YOUNG AIR, WEATHER AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERS In this week long program, students will gain the fundamental skills of mechanical engineering through the study of common machines like mechanical pencils and egg beaters. The program will culminate with working student-designed sailboats and windmills that can catch the wind.
