Travelling to King’s 2025
The school has 10 coach routes to transport pupils to school in the morning. They are scheduled to arrive at school at 08:10. Homeward journeys begin at 16:20 with approximate return times in the last column. This is a private bus service for the use of King’s College School only and members of the public cannot, and do not, use the service.
Our coach routes are shown in the map above and listed opposite. Costings are detailed on our website and are reviewed on an annual basis in Summer term. Currently the cost of return travel per year is £2,232 (one way is £1,489) but please note that these fees are subject to change. Stops will remain fixed, as per the timetable, unless, for some reason, the coach operator is unable to service a particular stop. Please note, this is not a door-to-door service. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis and whilst we will do all that we can to accommodate requests, a space is not guaranteed. Where possible pick-up points are located at TfL bus stops. This does mean that coaches are not able to wait but will not depart before the scheduled time stated.
All coaches are fitted with GPS tracking. This can be used Monday to Friday 06.30 to 09.00 and 15.30 to 18.00.
Homeward routes may vary slightly to take account of numbers travelling and one-way systems.
For further information please contact coaches@kcs.org.uk or 020 8255 5315.

King’s is extremely well-served by public transport of all types and is easily accessible from all parts of London and Surrey.
There are excellent main line connections from Wimbledon Station, with many services running at intervals of 15 minutes of less. South Western Railway run trains from Wimbledon to Clapham Junction and Waterloo and from Wimbledon to Surbiton, Kingston and the South West. Thameslink trains run directly to and from the City of London. From Wimbledon, the school is a short walk or very short bus ride away on the 200 or 93. By tube
The district line Wimbledon branch is an excellent option for pupils who live in Chelsea, Fulham, or areas served by other district line branches. It provides a practical alternative to the school coach in the evenings if pupils are involved in after school extra-curricular activities.
