Walls Construction won the restricted tender procedure to

construct the Central Bank Of Irelands new iconic offices at

Dublin Docklands providing accommodation for up to 1,500 employees.

The existing shell of the former Anglo Irish Bank on Dublin’s docklands was completed using BIM to the BREEAM

Outstanding rating. The building incorporated a triple glazed façade with a distinctive anodinized aluminium brise soeil.

The building is an 8 storey building over double basement with plant at roof level.

The ground floor is public space with meeting rooms and canteen at level 1, the governors office is at level 2 and

the training facilites and currencies trading at level 7. The

remaining space is open plan with the feature atrium stairs enhancing the circulation and access to the collaboration

spaces. The basement has a wellness centre at -1 and 40 car spaces at -2.

Walls comvmitted to this approach willingly and Cathal is delivering upon it, being always available and responsive to the Design Team and the client in an open an transparent way. His leadership is a key factor in dealing with problems as they arise and ensuring that successful delivery remains the priority for all parties. Cathal appears to be as comfortable getting his team to meet milestones as he is demonstrating his own technical capabilities when working alongside the design team and ourselves. He presents as a competent and professional Construction Manager which, combined with his work ethic and concern for the highest standards, makes working with him a rewarding and productive experience.

Fit out of the Montevetro Building located on Barrow Street,

Dublin 4 with a combined area of circa 25,451sqm. The project included office space, break out areas, canteen facilities to

The building had 2 floors occupied (level 8+9) throughout the

Description Walls Construction were employed as the Management Contractor on the development of corporate headquarter for LinkedIn of six storey’s over a single basement. The overall floor area including basement is 17,300sq.m2.

Demolition works were completed prior to the commencement of the main contract. The office building was built using BIM and targeted a LEED Gold rating. The building is designed to accommodate over 800 work stations. The main internal space of the building comprises a large atrium with feature stairs. Each floors has open plan office space with meeting rooms and drop in phone booth rooms. There are large training spaces and kitchen/dining areas on ground floor.

Services Engineers Project Management Group Description Fit out of existing vacant, office building for Atlantic Industries (Coca Cola). The offices are on levels 1 to 4 of the Southgate shopping centre, outside of Drogheda.

The Fit out included the construction of new cellular offices, open plan office spaces, meeting rooms, incorporating glazed partitions and specialist timber panel walls. The fit-out also included the installation of a full kitchen and mini data centre and the refurbishment of existing common areas and toilets.

The new roof level forms a roof terrace with new access for the staff from the existing staff restaurant at this level. Wellness Centre: The redevelopment of an existing office area to provide a Fitness & Wellness Centre for its employees. The works involved the demolitions on two levels. The lower ground floor was refurbished to include a reception with controlled entrance, offices, WC’s, aerobics room, gym specialist medical rooms, male and female locker and change rooms, consultation, recovery and relaxation rooms.

Description Due to the ongoing pressure on space in its existing Dublin operations, Salesforce fitted out two floors (Levels 03 & 04) in the shell and core office development at 1 Central Park, to complement its existing office accommodation in the nearby Atrium Building. The fit-out provided 450 workstations in open plan office areas with ancillary accommodation consisting of Meeting Rooms of varying sizes, 4 person Huddle Rooms, 2 person Phone Rooms, Reception and Pantry facilities, Comms Rooms and other facilities. A new accommodation stairs was installed within a partially glazed enclosure to increase the visual and physical connectivity between the two levels. The scope also included the provision of an additional toilet and shower core as part of the fit-out works to enhance the existing Landlord facilites. The use of a vivid colour palette in both paint and other floor and wall finishes was used to match the design standard used in Salesforce projects worldwide.

There are four blocks (Buildings A-D), all directly linked and accommodating up to 900 employees. The GTIC is a centre for product development through collaboration with visiting global food companies who will use the R&D labs and the manufacturing facilities. Buildings A, B & C are constructed with an in-situ concrete frame and Building D is an 8m high single storey with a steel frame structure.

The overall scope included the replacement of a glass atrium and lobby roof and the installation of curtain walling to the rear laneway, refurbishment of existing sash windows and replacement of non historic windows. Client requirements included the necessity for cellular offices across a number of floors, with conference, training and corporate facilities located over a show piece level, incorporating roof gardens and a gallery space. Fitout alterations also includes provision of services for double occupancy offices. The scope of work included the fit-out of the ground, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floor areas. The works were carried out within an existing and occupied office building and restrictions applied to work activities creating noise, dust or vibration.

Description Pre-construction services and construction management for the re-modelling, alteration and refurbishment of the existing Point Venue. This entailed the removal of the entire auditorium structure with the exception of the East and North walls, the relocation of the stage from the South to an extended West side and a complete reconfiguration of the seating to provide a standing / seating capacity of approx.14000. The works also involved alterations to the retained O2 Club section. The contract was valued at €62m over 14 months. €15m of which was the final fit-out of offices, clubs, bars and retails, totaling 14,000m² which was handed over on a phased basis so that the offices were live when the balance of the fit-outs were being executed.
