I started my Photo Business, Insight Photography, 16 yrs. ago this August. I was an Art major in High School, and grew up in a family of Artists and Creative People. I’d always had a cheap camera and taken photos, but i decided, when I retired from teaching ( I was a Special Ed. Teacher for 30 yrs.) I wanted to have another career, and decided I’d pursue photography and get into it seriously. I photograph weddings, events. portraits, and bands.. lots of bands... I love what I do. It keeps me whole. The Belly Dancer photo is Dylainia Young of Bomb Shell Belly Dance and she’s incredible! The Dude on the Piano is Andy Frasco of Andy Frasco and the UN, an LA based band that plays nationwide.
