It’s like we’ve come full circle. Two hundred years ago, you didn’t have much choice but to make your own soap! As time progressed, our society became more ‘modernized’, and household products were mass produced and sold in stores.

In order to extend shelf life and improve production (and who knows why else), manufacturers started adding all sorts of ingredients that, in the last decade or so, we’ve decided were a bad idea. Minimum Order Quantity or MOQ

Selling wholesale means we offer our products in bulk to a retailer or a consumer. It's important to note that even though we have created a wholesale channel for your business this still allows us to sell our products to the end consumer.

When buying through our wholesale department, keep in mind there is a minimum order regime in place. Meaning, wholesale buyers must buy a minimum amount of product (or dollar amount) when purchasing.

PRICING At the Supplier’s sole discretion the Price shall be either as indicated on products in store or any invoice provided to the Purchaser. This price will always be final. Supplier reserves the right to vary the Price at any time without prior notice as a result of increases beyond the Supplier’s reasonable control in the cost of material or labour, or due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates. With this in mind, the onus is on the Purchaser to keep abreast of all prices. All prices are listed in Trinidad and Tobago dollars.

CHANGES TO ORDERS: Any changes or cancellation to orders must be emailed to soapmakersparadise@gmail.com within 48 hours.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING: Though your shipment will likely go out sooner, please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to shipped or be ready for you to collect. Shipping/handling charges will be calculated and added to your order total when the order is ready to ship. We reserve the right to use our discretion as to the carrier to be used on any shipment. Your preferred carrier may be used if you agree to assume any additional transportation charges.

OUT OF STOCK: Because of the nature of our business, at times we may experience out of stock items. Usually, when our store is out of stock, our warehouse facility may still have stock. However since the warehouse isn’t on our compound it means there would be a delay in re-stocking the store. Shipping delays, and work-slow situations because of COVID-19 virus will also affect stock. Further to this, we are a new and growing company that is learning as we grow.

ABOUT OUR MICAS Soapmakers Paradise bring you the highest quality, ethically sourced premium micas. Our micas are perfect for use in projects requiring sparkle and shimmer. They are commonly used in melt and pour soap, cold process soap, hot process soap, makeup, resin art, nail polish, epoxy and any other application that calls for vibrant, stable colorants of uncompromising quality. . They are generally stable at high pHs, do not fade with UV exposure, and they do not migrate in soap and bath products. Using Micas in Cold-Process (CP) Soap: we recommend using 1 teaspoon per pound of oils. Some micas may require a bit more to get the color desired, but 1 tsp is a good starting point.

COLOR SCIENCE CANDLE COLOR CHIP Candle dye flakes are high quality professional candle dyes which have good combustion and do not clog wick during burn as do with pigments. Will produce rich colors. Recommended usage is 0.1% to 0.2% by weight of wax formulation (typically between 1 and 2 grams per kilogram.....between 0.5 gram (0.018 oz) and 1 gram (0.035 oz) per pound of wax. For the most precise measuring, we recommend using a good digital gram scale. Size of flakes may vary by color. One ounce of dye flakes will color approximately 45-65 pounds of wax. For darker colours increase the amount. Available in 1 oz and 1 pound quantities.

Please note these are suggested usage rates, your own testing in your own environment is of utmost importance. Testing is always your responsibility.

colorants (like Color Science Liquid), natural colorants and more. However, our favourite way to color melt and pour projects is with Color Blocks.

Color Blocks are small pieces of highly concentrated base. They’re mixed with various oxides, pigments and micas. They are easy to use; simply add by weight to chopped soap, allow to melt and stir. The heat melts the Color shavings and the soap base, which color the soap.

Floral wax is an exquisite aromatic addition and thickener for natural solid perfumes, balms, creams and other solid and semi-solid formulations. It is an ideal vegan substitute in formulations that call for beeswax.

Floral waxes are comprised of the natural wax and precious aromatic components that are present within fragrant flower blossoms and petals. Plants naturally produce wax as a means to waterproof and protect the outer layers of their flowers, leaves and other aerial parts of the plants.

As a part of the process of manufacturing a floral absolute, plant wax is separated from the concrete, resulting in a highly aromatic, soft to semi-soft floral wax that is well suited for inclusion in the finest solid perfumes, balms, creams, lotions and other luxe fragrancing and personal care applications.

Floral Wax is firm at normal room temperature, and it easily melts when heated. Floral Waxes can vary slightly in firmness, but they tend to be somewhat similar in consistency to that of a firm vegetable butter. Do not melt over direct heat.

Hydrosols are water-based products made from the distillation of fresh flowers, leaves, fruits, and other plant materials. They’re a byproduct of the essential oil manufacturing process and share many of the same properties as essential oils. The difference is that hydrosols are mostly water. This means they’re much less concentrated than essential oils. They also have a softer, more subtle scent.

We offer un-labeled bulk soap for private label. This is a great option for those who would like to sell soap bars without having to make them yourself.

Developed in house for all skin types.

We specialize in high quality recipes, containing simple, but powerful ingredients. We offer soap with lots of lather, that is soft on your skin and makes for the best all-purpose handmade soap.

Our soaps are approximately 4 oz in weight.

You will receive raw cut soap bars. You can choose to bevel the bars to neaten the edges if you want. Please note that due to the handmade and natural nature of our products you may find variation in color, design and aroma from batch to batch.

We are happy to discuss our best selling soaps, and help you decide which of our bars will fit with your customer base. These bars may be ordered in any quantity, as long as your order meets our MOQ.

Pets, Animals & Wildlife Society (PAWS) is an initiative based in Trinidad that supports the welfare of ALL animals. It is our personal animal non-profit. We continually strive to bring hope to a country where animal welfare is still unknown. Because we believe in the humane treatment and compassionate care for all pets, animals and wildlife we work towards achieving its mission through outreach projects, educational initiatives, lifesaving programs and services that support the human-animal bond. But more than that; We want to get people to care, to fall in love, and help us take action.

Soap4Life Initiative is our volunteer and soap donation program that was started in 2014 by Leigh with a three-part mandate. (1) We have developed a community poverty reducing vocational soap training program which we use to teach participants to make bar soap, washing powder and liquid soap from locally sourced ingredients and materials. (2) We work to help stop sanitation related sicknesses and mosquito borne illness. We work closely with both local and international communities to provide vital hygiene education on the importance of handwashing with soap, keeping a clean environment, water and sanitation and more. (3) Natural Disaster Assistance, we manufacture soaps and donate bars of soaps through our humanitarian relief ventures.

Kids4Life - a newspaper dedicated to kids A publication to support the work of kids aged 7-12 across the Caribbean, that encourages reading, creativity and entrepreneurship. Our fundamental belief is that, if the world is to become a better place, the next generation has to be better informed than the last.

We welcome the involvement of volunteers.
