Pray,

This year Jalsa Masih e Maud Day (The Promised Messiah Day) was held on Saturday 26th March 2022 online via a zoom link due to Covid 19 restrictions at the time. Jamat members from all over the country joined The program consisted of Tilawat, Nazms and Speeches Many speeches where given, the first one was by Murrabi Mustenser Qamar Sahib who spoke on the topic of the advent of the second coming foretold by Holy Prophet (saw) and by prophets of many other faiths as the Imam Mahdi. In Surah Jumah, spiritual second coming of Holy Prophet (saw) is prophesied Narration where Holy Prophet (saw) mentioned a man from among the persians shall come to revive the faith. Camel will be abandoned at the time of the coming of Imam Mahdi, mentioned in the Holy Quran. Christian ascendency at the time as well, alongside Dajjal. Moral decay and denial of God Almighty.

Sahib gave a speech in Urdu which spoke of the advent, need and station of the Promised Messiah (as). He explained that Muslims at the time were in a poor state as prophesied by the Holy Prophet (saw). Islam was being attacked on all fronts. Muslims were leaving the true faith and moving towards Christianity. Nothing would have remain of Islam but its name, with the Holy Quran just remaining as a writing. Thus it was very important for the Promised Messiah (as) to arrive at that time and guide everyone back to the true teachings of islam
He ended his speech by saying that our job is to continue the work for which the Promised Messiah (as) came. May Allah Almighty keep us in his protection and protect us from internal strife and every sort of calamity and difficulty.

Saturday 23rd March 1889 was the momentous day when Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah(a.s.), accepted the hands of fourty faithful servants in allegiance to the Ten Conditions of Bai’at (initiation) and founded the community which he called ‘The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’. The Promised Messiah(a.s.) took this oath of allegiance at the house of a spiritual preceptor Hazrat Sufi Ahmad Jan in the city of Ludhiana (Punjab, India)

The Final speech given was by Murrabi Shafiq Ur Rehman Sahib on the topic of the noble character of the Promised Messiah (as) Some Pearls. What are our responsibilities, looking at the noble character of the Promised Messiah (as). The purpose of the Jama’at is to put every effort towards the victory of the True Religion, Islam. Mere lip service will not avail us at all, we must put weight to our ba’ayat by bringing about moral improvement in our piety and righteousness. Then will Allah show wonders in our favour. Man was on ship, there was a storm, and the ship almost sank. The saintly person prayed and Allah saved the ship, informing him that the whole ship was saved on account of the one saint. Developing righteousness requires extraordinary effort.
Murrabi Sahib stated that The Promised Mesiah was deeply particular about congregational prayer and very particular about observing Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (saw) Despite difficulty in his right arm on account of an injury, the Promised Messiah (as) would hold the glass with left hand, but would only bring it to the mouth with right hand underneath. Forbearance, care, and great love for muslims despite their opposition and all humanity. Murrabi Sahib stated that its not our principle to pray against our opponents, as if we make efforts those people will come into the fold of islam. Hazrat Abdul Kareem narrates he heard the Promised Messiah (as) crying every night that people were dying from the plague. Despite the fact this plague was manifested as a sign, and the dying of people was a proof of his truthfulness, yet he felt pain on account of their trouble. He was very tender hearted, even while correcting others. One man came saying that he skipped trains without paying. The Promised Messiah (as) did not reprimand, but gave him a rupee and taught him not too cheat the system this way. Murrabi Sahib would end his speech by praying that we may commit ourselves to improving our states according to the requirements set by the Promised Messiah (as) Ameen!

While on the topic of prayers, the Promised Messiah (as) states that the sincere supplications of Allah's true servants bring forth Allahs grace when He addresses a certain task to himself. Such prayers appear to have been offered by the person, however, it is God's will that is manifested at such a time. When immersed so deeply in such prayers, the hand of the supplicant becomes the hand of God Almighty.
During this session, Khuddam members studied an extract from the writings of the Promised Messiah (as) on the topic of "Divine Attention is Drawn through Prayer".

Huzoor enquired how many of the Khuddam were asylum seekers; to which Azeem Sahib replied that the majority of Khuddam in the Waikato majlis, the upper North Island of New Zealand, had recently arrived from Malaysia and Thailand. He added that some new arrivals were currently at the refugee centre.
Hearing this, Huzoor said, “Since they are here because of the Jamaat, they should be active in Jamaat activities Make them realise this fact They should not think that they have come here because of their own potential, qualities, or something like that.”
On 6 February 2022, the national amila of Jamaat New Zealand, Majlis Ansarullah’s amila and Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya’s amila met Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V in a joint virtual mulaqat.
