Lady Conchs put up 5 against Lady Canes

he Key West girl’s varsity soccer team traveled north to face the Coral Shores Hurricanes on Nov. 30. In the end, the Lady Conchs were too much offensively for the Canes in a 5-2 victory. Teams went back and forth going into the first half with the Conchs up 2-1. In the second half, the Conchs scored three goals en route to victory. The Lady Conchs, 3-4, head on the road for a game at Somerset Academy Silver Palms, 3-0, on Friday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. The Lady Canes, 4-1, will go on the road to face St. Brendan in Miami on Monday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. — Weekly staff report
