CAFT National Learning Event
By Prashansa Pandey and Minu Ghosh
It is only in working alongside others will we see the changes we envision.
Keystone’s events team, along with Geeta Mondol and Rishab Anand from the Unity Uttarakhand project, worked with the Children and Families Together (CAFT) project team for the successful implementation of the National Learning Event held from 9 th-11th December 2024. The Keystone team’s presence was greatly felt as Rishab and Geeta served as one of the key resource persons on day one and day two of the event. On day one, Geeta and Rishab gave a presentation on “Bridge the Gap between Law and Practice” where they discussed about the Unity Uttarakhand Family Reunification project as an alternative to institutional care and an exit pathway. On day two, Geeta was part of a panel discussion on “Community Perspective-Voices from the Ground” where they discussed about the ground realities of working with people with disabilities. On day three, Keystone opened up to the attendees at our small pop-up booth where we were introducing attendees to the powerful work being done by Keystone which includes our on ground community projects and the national training institute.
