The AECOM case, in relation to damages over the Clem 7 Tunnel in Brisbane, settled earlier this year, paying out around $280m to Gilbert + Tobin clients, which made it one of the largest settlements of a misleading and deceptive conduct case in Australian history and the first case in Australia to be brought by a privately funded operator of a failed toll road.

GRANT KOCH Partner DLA PIPER Private Equity partner Grant Koch spearheaded Link Group’s ASX listing, the largest Australian IPO this year, with a market capitalisation of $2.3bn.
