National Poetry Week was celebrated at Kellenberg through the school’s first poetry Open Mic Ceremony, pioneered by Mrs. Diane Page. And that is exactly what the event was — a display of affection for art, for poetry, and for writing, championed by some of Kellenberg’s best speakers — such as Gabriel Blanco ’24 (left) and Virginia Bruder ’25 (right) — upheld by an expansive audience of teachers and students — and produced with much love and many thanks through the kindness, sincerity, and dedication of Mrs. Page. In total, 78 students and staff attended the event! #KMHS #NationalPoetryWeek

20 May 2:15PM Junior Spirit Days were held over Wednesday, May 19 & Thursday, May 20, which was a great mix between fun and faith and represented a proverbial “passing of the torch”, as the juniors became the school’s most senior grade. The first day was spent visiting Adventureland in East Farmingdale, while the second day, following the annual May Crowning, the juniors were treated to a field day held at Kellenberg, filled with outdoor activities such as volleyball and tug-of-war, won by Mr. Patrick Miles ’05 homeroom cohort 11A. #KMHS #Classof2022
