Market Update

2021 has commenced strong with the demand for homes still at an all time high and a shortage of properties for sale and lease.

In saying this buyers need to be prepared and act swiftly.

We have seen a 4.76% increase in median for the past year which is higher than the average growth with the median home $330,000.

People are investing in bricks and mortar with the all time low on interest rates on offer and the government schemes and incentives also available.

LATROBE VALLEY GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT The Victorian Government has just announced their investing in the next stage of the Latrobe Regional Expansion.

This stage will expand the maternity unit and deliver 3 new operating theatres, 44 new beds and 14 new medical and surgical beds.

The expansion will help meet the region's increasing and complex health demands throughout the Gippsland region.

There is continued growth and development in our area with The Victorian Government investing in Latrobe City to upgrade local infrastructure to attract major sporting events and programs to the region with the financial commitment for upgrades to our current sporting facilities and new builds and major projects across our region. With the intention to create jobs whilst these projects are under construction but also for the ongoing operations for the facilities and to strengthen our economy.

There has been allocated funding already for seven major sporting infrastructure projects across Latrobe City and upgrades to other nine other local sporting reserves across Latrobe City, Baw Baw and Wellington Shires.

Currently under construction in Grey Street, Traralgon is the Latrobe Creative Precinct, the new precinct will include a 750 seat theatre within a new performing arts centre, multipurpose/meeting rooms, an indoor/outdoor cafe and two open air event spaces.

It is anticipated that the Precinct will be open for business in mid 2021.
