Bayshore Students Design Creative Egg Carriers What an ‘Egg’ citing Event! Bayshore Christian School’s 6th grade students were recently assigned the special task of engineering a lightweight egg carrier. From a two-story fall, each student’s egg carrier was designed to protect the egg from breakage. With material, size, and weight restrictions, students were challenged to design the lightest possible carrier that could keep an egg from breaking. The Golden Egg Award went to Collin Hester, whose egg carrier weighed in at 38.1 grams. Kathryn McCammon earned the Silver Egg Award, weighing in at 52.1 grams.
