What is it?

Paris fashion week is an event held semiannually in France. The event showcases the designs of many designers through runway walks held across the week. Many big brands such as Dior, Chanel, Valentino and Saint Laurent. This is a chance for them to display their latest collections to the media and potential customers.

Is Paris fashion week open to the public?

As it is primarily just a large exposition, the majority of the top designer shows are by invitation only. But occasionally, the public is invited to exceptional events. Online ticket sales are also an option for the fashion shows, but the likelihood of success is fairly low given the high demand.

Coco Chanel

Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel was a French fashion designer and entrepreneur who was born on August 19, 1883, and passed away at the age of 87. The brand’s creator and namesake of Chanel.

Coco’s mother passed away when she was 11, so her father arranged for her to go to the orphanage-run convent in Aubazine. It was a simple, frugal life that required tight discipline. Given that Chanel learnt to sew while living in the orphanage, it’s possible that placement there influenced her future job. Her provocative yet incredibly fashionable designs at the time set her apart from the other designers. Designers at the period did not approach fashion in the same way as Chanel did. She created stylish, lovely, and cozy clothing. Coco Chanel has achieved a lot in her career. She is credited for introducing items that are now considered classics, including the woman’s suit, the quilted purse, costume jewelry, and the “little black dress.” She also debuted the enormously popular fragrance Chanel No. 5. Now, her company is one of the most well-known luxury brands in the world and generates over $15.6 billion in yearly revenue.

Consumers choose Dior couture because of its intricate processes, premium fabrics, intricate designs, and expert craftsmanship.
