performance? This is no Wildcat fantasy. Thanks to the ground-breaking development of the Alumni Village at K-State, this is reality in the making. Alumni Village is Manhattan’s purple-est future gated community designed with the K-Stater in mind. KSU Foundation leads the development as an innovative strategy to support the university, and to transform a once overlooked campus corner to a place that the K-State family can proudly call home.

“The Alumni Village development, under the leadership of the KSU Foundation, will bring carefree, luxury living homes to a location just steps away from campus,” said K-State President Richard Myers ’65. “At K-State, we take pride in supporting opportunities, like the Alumni Village, that will enhance the vibrant community we call home. It’s why we consistently rank No. 1 or in the top five nationally for great campus and community relations by Princeton Review’s annual ‘Best Colleges’ publication.” As area residents know, K-State is home to a diverse mix of events that bring the imagination to life. These activities foster life-long learning, new friendships from many cultures, and a chance to connect with old friends around the tailgate or beneath the stars. Thanks to K-State’s inspiration and nearby Fort Riley’s international influence, Manhattan, Kansas, is known for its small-town welcome and big city amenities.

Many favorite local events and adventures are in walking distance of Alumni Village. Shopping and a variety of dining experiences are found at K-State’s recently reimagined Student Union and in the historic Aggieville district. The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art is two blocks east of the Union along Anderson Avenue where campus and Aggieville intersect. A daily swim or workout at the Natatorium is a short walk across Memorial Stadium track and the field where the Pride of Wildcat Land prepare for game day. From K-State Gardens, to Bill Snyder Family Stadium, through the campus libraries and across the Konza Prairie Biological Station, the K-State campus community is an active and welcoming one. A world of conversation, exploration and wonder are often only steps from your future front door. As universities have begun to rely on private dollars to finance much of public higher education, a trend has emerged to invite alumni

and friends back to campus – not for a visit but for a coming home. KSU Foundation’s strategy in developing Alumni Village is to both boldly advance K-State family and create opportunity for Wildcats to reconnect with the university in a meaningful new way. With front-row seats to the K-State campus, Alumni Village owners invest in the future of the university while enjoying the unique cultural and intellectual vitality of the Manhattan community. Alumni Village puts owners in the middle of the K-State action and offers a stylish lifestyle suited for people looking for their next home, a game day home base or a place to adapt to the rhythms of the Flint Hills and Kansas’ land-grant university. “Alumni and friends from all over the nation enjoy returning to Manhattan,” said Amy Button Renz ’76, ’86, president and CEO of the K-State Alumni Association. “The KSU Foundation’s new Alumni Village will provide a wonderful option for
