Who am I? I am an architect, engineer and lighting designer. I work in 3d modeling and rendering programs, build manual models, design structural details, weald, solder, sew, paint and test my ideas. My biggest passion in designing is to combine all three aspects in one meaningfull project:

TECHNOLOGY is the tool to make design possible. LIGHT is my passion that helps me shape the space

VISION gives an answer to the questions.

Creating Woodland FORESTARIUM Master Thesis project Movable Structures, Daylighting Design According to Global Forest Resources Assessment from 2015 from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, we have seen a net loss of forests of 129 million hectares since 1990. An area about the size of South Africa with forest disappeared just in 25 years from our planet. The massive tree felling and disturbance of forest ecosystems leads our world to damage our environment that we are not even aware of. The main purpose of the project is to educate people about importance of forests through path of experiences and allowing them to plant their own forest on the deforastated land. Once the forest is grown (approximately after 8 years) the structure is being dismantled and moved to another location to serve the same purpose. Forestarium consists of 2 layers of elements. Modular and easy to transport rooms and organic shaped deck that creates the loop of exhibition. Forestarium you can take a walk through path of experiences and learn about forest ecosystem. Stepping inside 5 rooms dedicated to different topics concerining trees you will aknowledge the big importance of forests and experience 5 different daylight situations appearing in the nature. At the end of the tour you will be given a chance to plant your own tree on the land and leave the mark that will grow for hundreds of years.

Constructing rooms in circular shape

New trees will be plant in circles to resemble the section of cutted wood.

Construction of modules

Joinment To achieve form based on an arch, modules are connected by joinment beams forming desired angle.

Different panels applied from the inside of the module provide various looks and uniqe experiences inside them. Modules are supported by screw pile foundations, that can be easily removed when the structure is transported to another place.

THE NET HOSTEL Wrocław Univeristy of Technology Public Architecture “Biomimicry is an approach to innovation that seeks sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature’s time-tested patterns and strategies.”- accordig to Biomimicry Institute The Net Hostel presents the idea of a luxurious hostel filling a gap between two townhouses in the North part of city Wroclaw, Poland. The concept joins the inspiration from the world of water animals and insects. The Streamline movements form the building smoothly fits between two twonhouses. The façade imitate spider web in a relation to strength and fragility presented into openwork curtain wall. Front side of building contains two blocks with hotel rooms that are slightly shifted between each other. The building shape expand horizontally into the courtyard imitating the movement of fish tale.

LIGHT, DARKNESS, COLOR PAVILIONS Bachelor diploma project at Wrocław Univeristy of Technology Temporary Architecture Every city has a lot of spaces of hidden location and unappealing surrounding. For the reason of changing a repulsive place into an attractive area, three exhibition pavilions have been designed as a movable and temporary structure Each of them is designed to represent topic about light, darkness and color. The idea came from declaration of 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies. LIGHT | DARKNESS | COLOR pavilions provides unique way to present lighting possibilities and educate people about how light is important in modern life. Light affect our mood and creates special atmosphere in the interiors. By the interesting shape of designed pavilions, they encourage to enter and explore the magic of light, darkness and color.

THE MODULAR HEARTH The Royal Danish Academy of FIne Arts and Architecture Product design The word hearth derives from an Indo-European root, referring to burning, heat, and fire. It also describes the most important spot in the space where people can gather together in one place. Back in a days, hearth in a house was related to campfire, usually in the middle of the building, where people used to eat together. In The Modular Hearth Installation is the concept of a light installation designed according to the hearth principle. The installation is placed in the context of Nikolaj Kunsthallen art center in the center of Copenhagen, that used to be a church. This installation plays the role of a modern altar and reminds of the primary function of that building and gather visitors in a middle of the church. The installation consists of 3 types of cubical modules that can be connected in each corner creating various shapes of the whole installation. The concept was supported by 3 handmade 1:1 scale lighting fixtures. The frame is made of steel pipes with wiring inside. LED light sources are covered by semitransparent textile to give the contrast to metal frame and provide smooth light transition.

TEARDROP CONCERT HALL Master program at Wrocław Univeristy of Technology Interior Design Back in time, primary concert halls such as amphitheater, were built as an open-venues. The performances were integrated with nature and created more emotional sense of experience. The main concept for the Teardrop Concert Hall was the unity with outside environment and impression of the open space. The biggest focus is put on the glass honey-comb copula, that provides a lot of daylight into interior and gives a feeling of the performance on the open area. Round shaped plan provides good acoustical reflections, therefore the stage and auditorium seats are designed in oval shape. The Teardrop Concert Hall project is a concept of small, vast, public space. It was created for human experience of lightness , surrounding and light accompanied with sounds of instrumental music.
