VISION gives an answer to the questions. Architecture is a way to express certain manifestations, describe the problem and give it a solutions through visionary concepts. NATURE is the inspiration that influences my designs. I translate our natural world into architectural scale. TECHNOLOGY is the tool. Following modern technologies and experimenting with different possibilities in architecture we open up the door for greater human development. LIGHT is the material. It determines our mood, behavior and reveals the space. I believe that light manipulation is an impressive skill for creation desired image. I am looking for creative job opportunities in architecture and lighting design. Being always to eager to learn and discover I feel well prepared and motivated to start new chapter in my professional life.

Creating Woodland

FORESTARIUM Master Thesis project Movable Structures, Daylighting Design According to Global Forest Resources Assessment from 2015 from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, we have seen a net loss of forests of 129 million hectares since 1990. An area about the size of South Africa with forest disappeared just in 25 years from our planet. The massive tree felling and disturbance of forest ecosystems leads our world to damage our environment that we are not even aware of.

The main purpose of the project is to educate people about importance of forests through path of experiences and allowing them to plant their own forest on the deforastated land. Once the forest is grown (approximately after 8 years) the structure is being dismantled and moved to another location to serve the same purpose. Forestarium consists of 2 layers of elements. Modular and easy to transport rooms and organic shaped deck that creates the loop of exhibition. Forestarium you can take a walk through path of experiences and learn about forest ecosystem. Stepping inside 5 rooms dedicated to different topics concerining trees you will aknowledge the big importance of forests and experience 5 different daylight situations appearing in the nature. At the end of the tour you will be given a chance to plant your own tree on the land and leave the mark that will grow for hundreds of years.

Plantation design

Building diagrams

The plantation site is inspired by rings visible in a section of cutted wood. Trees from nuseries are planted in a radial direction on the shape of circle. Starting with the youngest trees in the middle point expanding to the oldest on the edge. This way there is less competition for sun and nutrients between bigger and smaller individuals.

Creating looped deck as a path of experiences

Constructing rooms in circular shape

New trees will be plant in circles to resemble the section of cutted wood.

Planting grown trees from nuseries and tree seedlings by visitors

Ater 8 years rooms are being removed the structure and build it in another land.

Deck stays to leave the landmark of the Forestarium.

Construction of modules

To achieve form based on an arch, modules are connected by joinment beams forming desired angle.

Different panels applied from the inside of the module provide various looks and uniqe experiences inside them.

columns

Modules are supported by screw pile foundations, that can be easily removed when the structure is transported to another place.

The organic shape of the deck leads people from one room to another.

floor beams

Eventhough the shape meanders in, out within rooms, the deck is completely independed structure. wall studs

There are no common joinments between deck and rooms in order to allow the rooms to be removed without damaging the deck structure.

screw piles foundation

Transportation Due to the small size of beams, modules can be constructed directly on a site or prefabricated and delivered as one element. See full project on my graduation profile at KADK website: https://kadk.dk/project/creating-woodland-forestarium

GREEN RENOVATION Erasmus exchange project at VIA University College Suistainable facade renovation

Green Renovation project transforms a prison infirmary into self-sustaining ecological hostel focusing on implementation sustainable solutions. The proposed interventions include: • Green vertical wall stripes that purify the air and enhance vicually the surrounding. • Green roof stripes reducing storm water runoff • Glass extension at the back stores heat and transfers it into the building • Solar panels on roof provides heat savings for the hostel • Window extension to ncrease light quaility in a space • Front square was designed in a principle of grassy stripes, water ponds and benches for recreation for hotel guests. Green Renovation project focuses on importance of external look of buildings, that forms visual comfort for outdoor spaces. It is an example of how harsh and unpleasant prison environment can be changed into green and modern area.

THE NET HOSTEL Wrocław Univeristy of Technology Public Architecture

“Biomimicry is an approach to innovation that seeks sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature’s time-tested patterns and strategies.”- accordig to Biomimicry Institute

The Net Hostel presents the idea of a luxurious hostel filling a gap between two townhouses in the North part of city Wroclaw, Poland. The concept joins the inspiration from the world of water animals and insects. The Streamline movements form the building smoothly fits between two twonhouses. The façade imitate spider web in a relation to strength and fragility presented into openwork curtain wall. Front side of building contains two blocks with hotel rooms that are slightly shifted between each other. The building shape expand horizontally into the courtyard imitating the movement of fish tale.

LIGHT, DARKNESS, COLOR PAVILIONS Bachelor diploma project at Wrocław Univeristy of Technology Temporary Architecture

Every city has a lot of spaces of hidden location and unappealing surrounding. For the reason of changing a repulsive place into an attractive area, three exhibition pavilions have been designed as a movable and temporary structure Each of them is designed to represent topic about light, darkness and color. The idea came from declaration of 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies. LIGHT | DARKNESS | COLOR pavilions provides unique way to present lighting possibilities and educate people about how light is important in modern life. Light affect our mood and creates special atmosphere in the interiors. By the interesting shape of designed pavilions, they encourage to enter and explore the magic of light, darkness and color.

SYMBIOTIC VIBRATION Competition project during internship at ACT Lighting Design* Landscape Lighting Design

The project basis on introducing lighting concept in the park, embankment and street in Vorobyovy Gory area. The main idea behind the project is to form a symbiosis between to contradictory elements that share the same space: nature and artificial lighting. Szmbiotic Vibration includes functional lighting that provides safe walk on the street together with interesting gobo light patterns along the alley. Lighting in the park was inspired by firefly blinking light and creates romantic atmosphere. On the embankment we placed horizontal line that can be seen from the opposite side of the water. Most of the luminaires are based on smart lighting system, that are activated only when someone is passing by, respecting the natural darkness for the nocturnal animals at the park. The lighting was also design for the World Cup that will take place in 2018 in Moscow. Together with a project manager I worked on the idea and smart solutions for the park lighting. The project was supported by suggestion of specific luminaires systems, lighting scenarios and detailed budget. * All design rights are reserved for ACT Ligthing Design
