At the beginning of the week I had planned to nish up my concept, nalize mood boards and have my plan done. However, I have not had a chance to nalize my plan because it has been very busy to meet and have one-on-ons this week. However, have nalized my concept and feel good about having a clear direction within my design. I would say that overall, this week has been productive and I think I have progessed on drafting and modeling.

W9 (ACTUAL)
This week was very productive in my opinion. I was able to establish the overall layout of what want my oor plan to look like and nalize my concept as well. I also think it is helpful that we are beginning to explore materials and color theories within our design schemes. One thing I hope am able to accomplish within the next week is to nalize furniture pieces and have a better understanding of the overall o ce space I want for my rm.

WEEKLY REVIEW:
I thought that this week was really insightful and I was able to gain a lot of knowledge. The trip to Michigan was so much fun and I really loved getting to have a feel of the di erent o ces spaces from each company. thought it was cool how all of these furniture manfacturers are not only looking at the e ects COVID-19 had but also how they can modernize furniture in a way that ts the fast paced technology advancements we are currently having. They also utilized a variety of furniture spaces within their workplace which is something that I will be incorporating within my design.

I would say that this week was helpful with the feedback I was able to get as we are nalizing our designs. I really thought the 3D iterations as well as the color studies were really helpful as they gave me a better sense of direction for my oor plan and overall design ideas. think that need to continue working on furniture layout as well as material choices in order to nalize my design and be ready to present later this week.
W12 (ESTIMATED)
W12 (ACTUAL)
Althought this week was very intense in trying to get everything done before Monday’s deadline, I felt strong about my concept and design ideas. Because of this, felt like I had a clear direction throughout the nal process and overall this week was really productive. The part that I felt had the most trouble with was deciding on architectural elements and also incorporating the “right” colors and materials within my design. However, it was very helpful that the original deadline was changed to

WEEKLY
This week was a steady week in wrapping up our nal presentations and beginning the Construction Documents. I think it was really helpful being able to see examples of the the di erent types of construction documents and being able to work on them throughout the week. For this upcoming week, it will be important to focus on working on those and inputting the di erent layers on Autocad.
This week was a very fast paced week as we are wrapping up the nal semester. It was di cult trying to navigate trying to learn how to make the di erent sections of the construction documents while at the same time doing them correctly. I think one take away is that it was very helpful being able to work together with other peers. Overall, this week was productive and I was able to get a lot done.
