A well-known face within the industry, John ‘Tiny’ Weatherill, Branch Manager at the Bangor branch, believes the introduction of the Plumbmaster brand has built on already strong foundations. “We have a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable staff and the launch of Plumbmaster has attracted a lot of new customers. Many said they didn’t realise we also were a plumbers’ merchants while others didn’t realise just how much we could offer, so we have been able to really show them what we are made of.”

Paul Hamilton, Branch Manager at the Castle Street branch in Portadown, said the visual impact of the rebranding has attracted new customers. “We are at a busy interchange in the town so the addition of the new signage has been able to cement the fact that we are a plumbers’ merchant. We’ve had a lot of people coming in who simply didn’t realise that we had such as extensive plumbing and heating range and they have been very impressed.”
