WELCOME

We welcome everyone who joins us this Palm Sunday for the beginning of Holy Week. It is always a pleasure to welcome guests to Karcher church. Know you are always welcome here and we hope you will come back to worship with us again. The BIG news this week – it is HOLY WEEK! This week is to the year what Sunday is to the week – a special time for reflection and worship where we celebrate the Passover of Jesus through death to new life and renew our relationship with the Lord and His Church. LENT

We are in the season of Lent. All around the world Christians are in a season of preparation of heart, soul, mind and strength as they learn to follow Christ. This season ends the Saturday before Easter. Here at Karcher we want to focus on opening our lives to the Lord during this wonderful season.

LENTEN SUPPER

Make plans to join us tonight for our final Lenten Dinner. Enjoy a delicious meal, fellowship with others, music and a devotional by Dr. Gary Waller.

GOOD FRIDAY

Plan to join us at 6:00 pm Friday for a Good Friday service. We will enjoy the music of Boise Philharmonic Violist, Dave Johnson along with his wife Deborah Wynkoop on the guitar, a message, “The Kiss of Death”, and communion.

PRAYER

If you would like someone to pray with you or talk with you about something in your life, our Prayer Team volunteers are always available. Meet them up front near the altars of the church at the conclusion of the service. Pastor Jack is available to anoint and pray for healing at the altars. LISTENING ASSISTANCE For the hearing impaired, listening assistance devices are available at the sound booth in the back of the sanctuary.

9:15 AM SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School classes for all age groups and adults begin at 9:15. Beginning at 8:30 there is an informal coffee fellowship in the Family Life Center (gym). Please join us there for conversation and refreshments. Children’s Sunday Schools: Located in the gym. Nursery care is available beginning at 9:00 for children 0-3 and is located in the main building. Youth ministries are located in the Youth Annex behind the gym. The rear exit doors of the gym take you there.

Pastor Mark will host a membership class April 28, May 5 & 12 for any interested in learning about the Church of the Nazarene. Join us in the Family Life Center (FLC).

EASTER

FEEDING FRIEND-ZY

Easter is a wonderful time of the year for reaching family, friends, and neighbors. Many people will make plans to attend a Church service for Easter Sunday. Join us in making our Easter Outreach a day to remember! Easter Sunday morning join us for a delicious brunch and time of fellowship at 9 a.m. Then, at 10:30 a.m. we’ll join together for a service of celebration. The choir will bring a special presentation under the direction of Seth Cook and Pastor Mark will bring a powerful message about the resurrection of Jesus Easter Sunday! April 21 is Easter Sunday – it’s never too early to plan.

It's time to sign up for the next Feeding Friend-zy session. You’ll join a group of eight people who are committed to sharing a meal once a month for three months. It’s a fun way to get to know some new friends and share some great food. If you’d like to join, please fill out the form in your bulletin with your name and preferred contact number and put it in the offering plate.

EASTER LILIES If you would like to help decorate the church and purchase a lily in honor or memory of a loved one, please put $8.00 for each name and place in a giving envelope.

Reach out to the families you know with the love of God by inviting them to our annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20 at 10am. This is a free event Karcher puts on for the community to make connections with families. Come early and check in with team leaders to see where you can help.

Use the invitation cards included in the bulletin to invite a friend to our Easter events. Additional invitations are available in the Welcome Center.
