WELCOME

Karcher Church, a member of the International Church of the Nazarene, is also a member of the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene. Our District is a network of 50+ Churches of Eastern Oregon, Southern Idaho and Northern Nevada. We stretch from Burns, Oregon to McCall, ID and from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City and Ely, NV. As you can tell it’s a large geographical footprint of mostly smaller agricultural areas. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Scott Shaw served as a pastor for thirty- five years prior to becoming our District Superintendent in 2014. Each week we remember in prayer one specific Church on our District, you can find that Church in the prayer section on the back page of this bulletin.

LENT The season of Lent arrived on March 6 this year with Ash Wednesday. Lent runs for forty days, (not counting Sundays), each year. At Karcher Church we celebrate Lent with a weekly Sunday dinner gathering at 6:00 in the Family Life Center. We will focus on Scriptures pertaining to our spiritual growth and direction through the season. Lent concludes on Easter Sunday! We hope you will make Lent a priority this year. Stay tuned for details. Our first Lent Dinner will be NEXT Sunday at 6 pm.

WORSHIP

It is our goal to lift up Jesus in worship each week as we gather together. Imagine, somewhere at the far eastern edge of the time-zones, about twenty hours ago, men and women began to sing praise to the Living God. Here at the western edge of the time-zones, TODAY’S SERMON We welcome Dr. Alan Wheatley today we’re now adding our voices to the as he brings us the message from praise of God for all He’s done for us. It Isaiah 1:1-4 entitled “Payback Time.” is our sincere hope that you will find yourself engaged in life changing connection to God this morning. Likewise, it is our hope that you will find opportunities to connect with God’s people here today.
