To define spaces using overlapping pathways and a series of columns and beams on a rectangular base.

Combined study model 1 and 2 to create the final design. Created a lower divot into the back for the space of rest and an outside area with a trellis for a space of turning.

MULTI-PURPOSE APARTMENTS DESIGN 3.1 | FALL 2021

For my design, I wanted to prioritize having a site that will give a passerby access to both Madison and Gaines street, Something that provides a shortcut. So I created a ramp that allows you to do so.

For the programming, I have a total of 18 2-bed apartments and 12 1-bed apartments.

The building to the left is a 6-story building with an office and gym on the third floor.

The building to the right is a 4-story building with the bottom two floors as retail space for and the top two floors as more apartments. On the third floor of both there’s a bridge that connects the two buildings with each other and also the pool and cafe.
