PRIVATE LESSONS Private Lessons are available at
Kaleidoscope School of Fine Art, Inc. for those who are interested in more inͲdepth, oneͲonͲone art instruction. Our instructors have a variety of art backgrounds and offer a wealth of knowledge to the inquiring student. Lessons must be reserved in advance and are subject to available classrooms and instructors. Payment is due in full prior to the first lesson. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Drawing Lessons……………………………………………………………$50/hour These lessons focus on pencil and paper as the media of choice. Line, perspective, shading, proportions and composition are discussed as well as tips on how to use your pencil and even erasing techniques. Note: This is also the rate for those bringing all his/her own supplies.
Charcoal and/or Pastel Lessons…………………………….…………$55/hour These lessons focus on blending and shading and layering of chalk pastels. Date

Painting Lessons…………………………………………………………..…$60/hour These lessons focus on one of the following paint medias: watercolor, acrylic, or oil and teach good brush handling and color mixing as well as composition and proper clean up.
Papier Mache Lessons………………………..…………………………..$50/hour These lessons focus on building a structure, covering its outer surface with a layer of papier mache, and finishing the sculpture with acrylic paint. (Minimum of 3 separate lessons required to finish a Papier Mache sculpture.)
Clay Sculpture lessons………………………………………………….…$65/hour These lessons teach the basics of handͲbuilding, from scoring/slipping, to creating form, and finally how to finish a piece with underglazes, oxides, and/or glazes. (Minimum of 3 separate lessons required to finish a small kilnͲfired sculpture.)
