IN MEMORIAM
MARY WYATT ALLEN 1933 - 2023 We honor the life and legacy of Mary Wyatt Allen, who passed on May 19, 2023. Mary Wyatt served as President of the Junior League of St. Petersburg from 1969-1970. She was a remarkable community leader who dedicated time and expertise to various organizations and boards in St. Petersburg. Her accomplishments as a volunteer, board member, fundraiser, and event coordinator were extensive. For over 70 years, she was an instrumental force in shaping our community's future. “She just had a love for the city and always had a desire to volunteer and better things,” said her son, Chris Allen. His brother, Niel Allen, concurred, “She was very much a product of, and a champion for, the city of St. Petersburg, having been born and raised here. And always promoted the city and its growth. And its services to children, especially.” We extend our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
