ROAD SAFETY

October is Motorcycle Awareness Month across NSW. Motorcyclists are vulnerable road users due to the lack of protection in the event of a crash.

Central Coast Council’s Road Safety Officer will be at ChromeFest on Saturday to raise awareness among drivers of the importance of being aware of motorcycles on the roads.

Call into the marquee located near the Cenotaph, there’s an interactive engagement tool and resource giveaways.

Calling all you guys and gals, the ChromeFest Vintage Fashion Parade will be back again this year, featuring the following categories: • Genuine vintage

• Best couple/family and kids • Kids and best of parade

• Vintage replica over 50’s and open.

The fashion parade will be held on the dance floor in front of the Unity Bank stage, starting at 1.00pm on Saturday. It’s your time to shine, centre stage at ChromeFest!

Registrations open at 9.00am on Saturday at the event.

CARS & CHROME FRIDAY CAR CRUISE

The cruise will leave Oakland Avenue, The Entrance at 9.30am. The cruise will take you along Wilfred Barrett Drive with a stop for a coffee at Lakes Beach. We will then continue up to Lake Munmorah and head down the Pacific Hwy to The Doylo to grab a bite to eat, listen to tunes from DJ Glen London and enjoy car chats with Ian Luff motor racing champion, while catching up with your mates.

The Cruise will then take you back to The Entrance where you can park up and enjoy the evening show in Memorial Park until 9.00pm.

SATURDAY TWILIGHT CAR CRUISE

Cars will leave from Marine Parade car park from 5.00pm and cruise through the streets of The Entrance.
