Beginning in August 2020 I was finally able to contribute. I began homeschooling duty at my house with my granddaughters because their mother had to go back to work and schools were not open. I managed to this get this quick pencil and white conte drawing done of Audri the Pre-K’er while she was looking at her screen.

Charcoal and white pastel on Grey strathmore paper Sept. 4, 2020 I was so thankful to be finally able to help in some way. Homeschooling duty at my house with my granddaughters was a true honor and pleasure when their mother had to go back to work and schools were not open. Sofia remained in virtual school and was a very good student always attentive and so tech savvy.

8” x 10” Oil on 1 1/2” cradled wood panel

Day 10 #stradaeasel 30 day challenge September 2020. (Paint or draw from life everyday for 30 days. The optional prompt for today is “muted” so here is a quick oil painting of three brown eggs on a non-primed birch wood cradled panel painted from life. The browns, grey and natural wood gives a muted presentation. 8” x 10” Brushes down. I facilitate / teach school for granddaughters at my home so have had little time to paint. Always good to practice the forms. I used it with Audri the preschooler as she was learning shapes.
