Photojournalist, Karem Yuce captured this moment and it inspired me to paint this. Amidst all the protests and the legitimate outcry for justice, a nation grieves this man. One of many. Deep within I grieve and am shocked by the brutality in which this man and so many others are killed so often and the racial disparity in our country.
