BUILDER'S OFFER AIDS CLASSROOM PROJECT Anyone visiting or passing the Loughton, Chigwell and District Synagogue must have seen building materials stacked in front of and behind it. Those stacks are for a classroom extension. They are, in fact, sections of a large (about 65ft x 25ft) mobile school building which the Synagogue was able to obtain at no cost. The opportunity arose when a local builder indicated that he needed to remove the building from a site he was developing and if someone did not take it, and quickly, he planned fo destroy it. When erected and re partitioned, the building should be capable of housing four classrooms and combined with the existing Synagogue building.
