Welcome to Dignity Catering!

We offer a diverse menu of custom-made food to please any palette including requests that meet ethnic, dietary or religious guidelines. We can create a quality tailor-made menu for your specific event within your particular budget. Please peruse our menu and if there is something special you wish to order, just let us know. Pricing will vary based on the number of options selected, size of your event and wait staff needs. We are here to please!

Miniature Meatballs

Meaty meatballs baked to perfection in a choice of a savory or sweet and tangy sauce.

Spinach & Artichoke Dip

Hooey gooey mixed cheeses combined with seasoned artichokes and baked to perfection.

Shrimp Cocktail

~ Appetizers ~

Plump chilled shrimp served with a tangy cocktail sauce and a lemon wedge.

Smoked Salmon on Toast Points

A mixture of capers, onion and herb cream cheese smeared on a toasted baguette and layered with smoked salmon.

Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms

Mushroom caps stuffed with an array of seafood, baked and topped with creamy melted cheeses.

Sweet Potato Crostini with Prosciutto and Honey Balsamic

Roasted Fig

Toasted sweet potato slices topped with a mix of honey and balsamic, sweet figs and sweet and salty prosciutto.

Bruschetta

Tangy tomatoes mixed with basil and oil, topped with parmesan cheese and served on a crostini.

Caprese Flat Bread

Melted mozzarella, basil and tomatoes baked on a flat bread. Balsamic glaze drizzle is optional.

And of course, Pigs in a Blanket!

Plump, mini-hot dogs or sausages, snugly nestled in a buttery embrace of flaky, golden pastry. Each morsel delivers a burst of juicy goodness, while the pastry lends a comforting, slightly crisp contrast.

All Entrees include your choice of a side salad, two regular sides and a warm roll with butter. Premium sides may be selected for an up charge.

Baked Ziti

Sweet and savory tomato meat sauce mixed with herbs and spices then blended with a trio of cheeses.

Balsamic Lollipop Lamb Chops

Easy to hold, succulent to eat.

Italian Sausage and Peppers

Roasted sausage mixed with sautéed onions and peppers.

Hawaiian Chicken

A combination of sweet and sour flavors combined with pineapples and peppers.

Chicken and Shrimp Pasta

Juicy chicken and plump shrimp combined with mushrooms and peppers in a creamy alfredo sauce.

Shrimp Tacos

Sautéed shrimp combined with Asian inspired slaw and drizzled with ginger honey sauce.

Grilled Salmon

Marinated and seasoned salmon, seared to perfection.

Flank Steak

Grilled steak cooked to perfection drizzled with a mushroom demi sauce.

Strawberry Spinach

A blend of Romaine and Iceberg lettuce, corn, black beans, cherry tomatoes, red peppers tossed in a Chipotle ranch dressing topped with tortilla chips.

Cobb

Crisp Lettuce, avocado, bacon, bleu cheese, cherry tomatoes, hard boiled eggs with your choice of Italian vinaigrette or Ranch dressing.

Chef Salad

Garnished with plump cherry tomatoes, creamy hard-boiled eggs, and a sprinkle of bacon.

The trusted symbol of hope for the POOR & HOMELESS

The Source is a Christian Outreach Ministry working to transform llives in our community by providing critical care for physical, spiritual, civic and social needs.

Dining with Dignity provides professional training to clients in preparation for them acquring employment within the community

The Dining with Dignity Training program offers culinary training as a way to change lives! The program helps unemployed men and women replace limited skills, homelessness, addiction, and incarceration with new careers. The Source’s 6, 12 or 16 week training program provides the basic skills in the food service industry.  We work with adults who are willing to do what it takes to change their lives.

Students who opt to continue further into the training program will become certified by the American Hotel and Lodging Association enabling them to get better employment opportunities.

The Core Curriculum includes:

• Classroom – ”hands on” kitchen training

• State of Florida ServSafe/SafeStaff certification

• Knife skills, recipe proportions, meal planning, sautéeing, baking, etc.

• Nutritional Planning

• Financial Literacy

• Life skills and Interpersonal skills

• Individual and group counseling

• Stipend each week and graduation bonus

• Job placement assistance and post-graduate support

The process will include an interview, mental health screening, a commitment to one week of volunteer service, ability to pass a drug test, no drug or alcohol use and must attend all program classes. Upon graduation, the candidate will receive job placement, a uniform along with nonslip shoes, and an employment housing bonus after 3 months of continued employment. Post-graduate assistance is also available as needed.

Dignity Catering offers Dining with Dignity students the opportunity to give back to the community and help them in their efforts to gain outside employment by cooking and delivering well balanced meals and beverages to Indian River County businesses and organizations, as well as catering private events.

As an extension of Dining with Dignity, culinary students get an opportunity to work on the Dignity Food trucks, preparing and delivering made-to-order food to the public. They also participate in preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner daily for members of The Source. They take orders and work with the kitchen staff to prepare food and serve meals to those who have ordered from the made-to-order menu.

When you are looking for made-to-order food close-to-home or work, and you want it convenient, tasty and easy-to-find, now’s the time to look no further than The Dignity Food Truck conceived by and operated fully by The Source.

Thanks to a grant by Impact 100, The Source implemented the first Dignity Food Truck, a social enterprise that is geared to selling their award-winning foods throughout the community. It also provides a training opportunity for homeless culinary students to make made-to-order food and to get hands-on training with real customers.

Now, there are multiple food trucks on the road Monday through Friday. Cooking begins at 11 a.m. until the food is sold out! Customers will not only enjoy the food and convenience, but they will also be contributing to homeless culinary students perfecting their knowledge in the kitchen and being able to gain employment in the food business. All monies derived are used to support programs and services at The Source.

The Food Truck can be found at local businesses as well as being a vendor at local community events, school sporting games, or private functions presented by businesses or charitable organizations as well as appreciation breakfasts and lunches. The Food Truck has also traveled out-of-town to help serve hope and food to hungry and homeless people devastated by major catastrophes.

Vero Beach Magazine Profiles The Source in Back-to-Back Issues

The readers of Vero Beach Magazine got a sneak peek into two of the wonderful programs we offer while reading the February and March issues of the popular glossy publication.

February introduced Charlene Morris, LMHC, MCAP, and Director of The Source’s Mental Health Services/Dignity Wellness Program under Vero Vibes on Page 35. The program, underwritten by grants from Impact 100 and Grand Harbor Community Foundation, speaks to how the program is providing mental health care and instills hope to those who need it the most. Community programs are being held throughout the year including a “Managing Holiday Blues” forum with a variety of experts in the field offering advice and directions while

trying to achieve a re-newed sense of wellbeing. Another of it kind will be offered in December 2024, and a “Health & Wellness Fair” is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at Pathway Church.

The March issue profiled Toni Moore, Kitchen Manager for The Source, in the Local Flavor section of the magazine, Pages 161-165. Toni shared some of their prize-winning recipes found on the Dignity Food Trucks and through the catering arm of the organization, Dignity Catering. Beautiful photography showcased three of the dishes including their spin on a Shrimp Cocktail appetizer with a flavorful sauce, a mouth-watering Orange Glazed Chicken entree and a magnificent Strawberry Parfait for dessert.
