A Message from the Principal
To our Judge Memorial and St. Mary families,
I am so proud of our faculty, students, and parents as we successfully navigated the school year during a global pandemic. The resiliency of our community shined every day. We were one of the few high schools in Utah to avoid canceling in-person classes due to the number of COVID-19 cases. Instead, our school acted responsibly and truly cared for one another’s safety.
Congratulations to all of the Judge Memorial and St. Mary community as we have entered our Centennial year. For so many generations, members of our school community have made a positive difference locally and globally. Our alumni have shaped this nationally recognized institution over the last 100 years. Thank you for laying the foundation and setting the high standards.
We are proud to welcome a new set of students into our alumni ranks. This group of students spent their senior year finding creative solutions to the challenges they faced. When fans were limited at basketball games, they created a sports simulcast. When we felt like we were in the middle of the movie Footloose, with dancing restrictions, they designed a socially distanced prom at the Hogle Zoo. I am so proud of the Class of 2021.
Some highlights of the Class of 2021 include: y 67% graduated with honors y They were accepted to 167 colleges and universities y They will attend 51 different colleges and universities next year y They earned $14,800,000 dollars in scholarships and renewable grants y The boys’ soccer team won their third straight state championship. The girls’ soccer team finished second. y The boys’ swim team won the state championship with the girls’ swim team taking second. y Perhaps most impressively of all, our seniors contributed 11,324 hours of service to the community in the past four years
Thank you to our teachers for innovating through this year. They truly modeled life-long learners. Our faculty continue to educate selflessly and show incredibly support for one another. I am appreciative to work alongside of these inspiring educators.
I am sincerely grateful for all of the loving support we feel each day from our alumni. Your support through prayers, volunteering, attendance at events, and financial support are truly making a difference. With pride, we will continue to carry on the Judge Memorial and St. Mary traditions of excellence.
With joy,
Patrick Lambert ‘97 Principal Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam
