Writer/Director/Artistic Director Who’s ready to step back in time? We are so happy you are here with us tonight so we can whisk you away in our time machine to a long ago place. A time when things were so different and yet… in some ways, very much the same. With the fantastic cast we’ve assembled and our amazing production team, I think we were able to really make this show a wonderful nostalgic trip that everyone will enjoy. It’s all set to many of the biggest hit songs of the time… tunes we all know and love… so don’t be afraid to clap your hands or Bob Cunningham even sing along. Artistic Director A special shout out to a couple of our wonderful Season Ticket holders who Writer & Director helped inspire the idea for this show. So c’mon… let’s take those old records off the shelf and listen to some Old Time Rock ‘N Roll!

Mark Kazakov ~ Paul Mark is ecstatic to be back at Jubilations. He recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a BFA in Drama while on tour with Runaway Bridesmaids. Over the past year he has been diving into more shows with the company such as Buddy Holly’s Happy Days and More Dirty Dancing. When he’s not working with Jubilations, Mark is a Professional Stilt Walker/Runner/Dancer with Green Fools Theatre, an Improviser with Loose Moose Theatre and has even worked as a “Pochinko” Style Clown with the late but great Calgary International Kids Festival. Mark thanks his beautiful family for their love and support and thanks you, the audience, for being here to support live theatre.
Ray Val ~ Della Ray is a singer/songwriter from Calgary, Alberta currently finishing her first EP. She has worked on TV/Film sets for the last few years and got her first lead role in a full length feature film that finished shooting Dec 2019. Last year she attended the Canadian Model and Talent Convention, winning 2 trophies in the Self Tape competition and a Covergirl TV commercial. Previously, she was involved in ballet, jazz and contemporary dance for 10 years, and worship dance theatre (Corps Bara) for 2 years. She has trained in competitive musical theatre (High River Music Festival) and has done a few other community theatre productions, but this is her first Jubilations show! Ray has been with the company since Feb 2019 starting out as additional cast and she is grateful to be connected to such amazing people and is very excited for this role. She thanks her family and friends for being so supportive, including her 2 beautiful children. You can follow her on Instagram @iamrayval.
Ethan Snowden ~ Mikey Ethan Snowden recently attended MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program, where he performed in The Drowsy Chaperone, Footloose and Into the Woods. You may recognize Ethan from AMTC’s Jack and the Beanstalk, or from the Edmonton Fringe in The Five Stages of Death and Urinetown. However, lately you will mostly find him in a stuffy soundbooth or spending quality time with his wife and son. He has been enjoying Jubilations shows since he was 11 years old, and is thrilled to be on the other side of the stage.
Kate Cunningham ~ Mary Kate is thrilled to be performing in her first Jubilations Dinner Theatre production! In 2018, she played Beth in The Murder of Barnaby Hall, for which she won the Best Lead Actor award at the Calgary High School Drama Festival. After earning a certificate in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University, Kate decided to return to the excitement of the stage. She is looking forward to going back in time with the cast, crew, and audience of Old Time Rock ‘N Roll!

Tatyana Yakubowich ~ Lizzy / Daughter This is Tatyana’s first show with Jubilations, and she is very excited to be working and sharing the stage with such a talented group of wonderful people. Tatyana is a graduate from MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program (2017). Her past credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Trix the Aviatrix), Footloose, and Into the Woods (Jack’s Mother). Tatyana would like to thank her incredibly supportive friends and family. Cheers!
Dan Allen ~ Michael Dan is excited to be home in Edmonton again for another Jubilations show! Dan began his career with Jubilations in Flatland Jamboree way back in 1997. That show featured Shelley Cunningham, the mother of Kate Cunningham who is the ingénue Mary in tonight’s performance of Old Time Rock ‘N Roll - talk about full circle! More recently Dan has appeared in Modern Family Vacation, Flashdance: An 80’s Flashback, Runaway Bridesmaids, More Dirty Dancing and Buddy Holly’s Happy Days. Now sit back and enjoy the show!

STORY... In case you are a new visitor to Jubilations, you may be interested in a little information about our group. Where did Jubilations come from? Although not a new idea, the Jubilations concept is unique in today’s theatre. It combines a three-act musical comedy with a twist and a four-course dinner. We ask our audience to immerse themselves in our world. Whether we’re at an old west saloon or on the bridge of a futuristic starship, we invite the audience to play along by being an actual part of our environment for a few hours. Our goal – fun for the entire family. Our Edmonton location in West Edmonton Mall truly lends itself to this concept. We currently have three dinner theatres in operation: our sister theatre, Celebrations in Winnipeg, Jubilations in Edmonton, Jubilations in Calgary who is also home to “Aussie Rules”, a very exciting rockin’, dueling piano bar. All four of our concepts are proud to come under the umbrella of WOW Hospitality Concepts. Our owners, Janet Cunningham and Doug Stephen would like to welcome you to Jubilations, Edmonton’s most exciting dinner theatre and are pleased to present our current production.
