It all started in 1986, known then as Jack’s Cake House and quickly become renowned for their Signature Mango Mousse Cake. As Singapore’s society became more socially diverse & inclusive, Jack’s Cake House decided to obtain Halal certification & rebranded to Eatzi Gourmet in 2006. Eatzi Gourmet is Halal-certified with three divisions – Eatzi Gourmet Bakery, Eatzi Gourmet Catering and Eatzi Gourmet Steakhouse.
In the same year, it also opened Eatzi Gourmet Steakhouse & Bistro in SAFRA Yishun, the Halal-certified sibling restaurant of Jack’s Place. A casual dining place for family and friends to enjoy great value sizzling steaks, set meals, delicious cakes and delectable western food in a cheerful and cosy environment.
The holding company, JP Pepperdine Group, managed Eatzi Gourmet and Jack’s Place. Jack’s Place is Singapore trusted favourite casual dining steakhouse.

What does grass-fed actually mean in New Zealand?
Here, the climate, clean air & plentiful pure water fuels year-round growth of lush, green pastures. The animals are raised year-round, on this pasture, with access if needed to conserved forages like hay & silage. It also means that they have been raised with the ability to wander & graze freely. The animals can eat & live as they would naturally – reducing stress & promoting better animal welfare.
What does that mean for red meat?
With a diet of rich grass animals grow strong, healthy and lean. The meat that is produced has a consistently delicious, distinctive flavour – the mark of red meat as it naturally should be. It’s leaner, more finely textured and nutritionally better for you. Compared to being grain-fed, grass-fed meat is lower in saturated fat, and higher in vitamins A and E, conjugated linoleic acid and omega-3 fatty acids.
