contemporary worship service it will encourage young families to join us and actively participate in our church family because of the excellent programs we have to offer. Thank you so much to the parents, volunteers, and members of DHPC for all your support and prayers this year. Chris Haidet has done a remarkable job with fulfilling and exceeding our expectations in 2021 and has put us on track for a fabulous 2022. He truly is a blessing to us all!

Fellowship

MISSION STATEMENT To provide social opportunities and activities which encourage people to develop friendships, striving to build relationships across generational lines.

2021 GOALS Provide events and activities encouraging social interaction and sharing Christian fellowship. Provide outings to bring people together of differing generations around a given interest. Explore new and innovative ways of building relationships among the generations. Coordinate the work of the Fellowship

Committee with other Session committees. Evaluate at the end of the year and maintain clear records of cyclical events for future use.

2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS As COVID was still a factor in fellowship events, we continued for look to additional activities that would interest and engage the congregation.Calling on the strength of the congregation, we continued with a variety of Zoom sessions including more Plant-Based demonstrations and favorite recipes. As the Church opened, the following events occurred: Saguaro Lake Desert Belle boat cruise and lunch at the Lake’s Ship Rock Cafe. Reopened the coffee fellowship on the patio. In conjunction with the music department, hosted an ice cream social and sing-along on July 4. Fun Fall tailgating suggestions and menu demonstration on Zoom. Provided support for the Fall Faith Festival at Cave Creek Regional Park. Worked with the Music and Arts Committee to provide help for the Renaissance Yuletide Feaste of 170 guests.

2022 GOALS Continue support for Brain Savers including physical fitness and good nutrition. With the hope of managing COVID, we look forward to a multitude of opportunities to gather and bring our congregation together in a variety of events: day trips, luncheons, games, hiking, working closely with fellow committees, as needed.
