The Man Behind the Lens
Hello! My name is John Phillip Santos, I am the guy behind J-Phil | Photography. For now I count myself as a hobbyist for I don’t really earn that much from shooting because most of the models are my friends or relatives that I invited. If you are curious where do I get my budget for this hobby of mine, I get it from the salary from my real job but still I hope that someday I will be able earn enough from this hobby and leave my job so I can focus more to what I really love doing. I am fascinated in taking portraits and I like how it can be combined with other genres of photography like advertising and landscape. Another inspiration why I love taking photos of people is the capability of it to uplift and boost other people’s self-esteem by showing them how beautiful and good looking there are in the photos. On most shoot that is my goal though I am not quite sure if I am being able to achieve it.
My dream of shooting for a magazine cover gave birth to the idea of making this magazine. I am just amazed how the title texts gives a photo a different feel and how pleasing to see your photos in a whole spread view. PDF files also gives a better view for the devices around us. The people can enjoy more on showing it to others and it will also make them feel they are really are model because they are in the cover of a magazine. I hope you guys enjoy viewing the magazine, I am sure there will be more that will come. Introducing the Stylist

“Hello! My name is Sydney, I’m a hobbyist makeup artist, stylist, and a student—I love to learn and discover something new every day. I’m interested in fashion, beauty and photography. Working with Princess was so awesome! It was like I’m working with a professional model- Rosie HuntingtonWhiteley. She really looks like her! But aside from the looks, Cess really amazed me because she knows exactly what to do— No what if’s, she’ll just do it. She’s a whole package model.” “I have a lot of pegs for Cess. She’s a kind of model whom you’ll admire because even without makeup she’s gorgeously sexy. And every time you’ll look at her you can easily imagine a look that will perfectly look good to her. Even from light to dark makeup she looks so amazing. She really has an extraordinary face.”
But if you’re given enough time and budget what kind of look and clothing you want to do to Cess? “To be honest, this question is so hard to answer. When you try to look at Cess there’s a lot of concept and look that will pop out in your mind, without even knowing where those ideas came from. Let’s just say that I’m a fan of Victoria’s Secret and I really love watching their run way shows. And because Cess is not far beyond the looks of Victoria’s Secret Angels, I’m planning a sexy bridal concept for Cess. Something like what VC did with Lily Aldridge but accentuates more on her face rather than what she’ll wear. I want to create an illusion of a bride that is so alluring and fierce. In Her Mind
We asked Princess about her experience during the shoot “JP is a very good friend of mine. I was excited and flattered when he asked me to model for him for the first time. I feel very comfortable and confident when he’s shooting me. He listens to my suggestions and he guides me in every photo shoots. when JP is the photographer, I feel like we’re shooting
for a glam magazine.” Every time I see the photos that JP took, I can’t believe that it’s me. Hahahah! I mean I look different, not because of the editing or what; it’s the way JP took them well, if I’m given a chance to pursue modeling, why not? Life is short. Do whatever you want. :))

Before we asked Princess what does she wants to improve? her answer was “I’m not really that happy with my body right now. I know I can improve it, and make it lean. I just have to make up my mind and start to work out again. Wait and see. Hahah!” And after couple of months we did something that is quite revealing that shows a lot of skins.

We commonly see girls pose very seductive and revealing in every magazines. So we asked Cess what made her to do the shoot? “I trust JP and Sydney. And I’m very comfortable wearing less clothes. Hahah! I’ve never done that kind of sexy shoot before. So when Sydney Told me about it. I was like “Hell Yeah, Let’s do this”.” So you are comfortable that other guys will see you? “I really don’t mind. I mean it’s totally fine with me because I’m still the one who can decide what parts of my body that they are ALLOWED to see. Hahahah! I’ll leave the rest to their imagination.”
