Our Mission & History Our Mission The International Caterers Association (ICA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, mentoring and resources for professional caterers and promoting the profession of catering to clients, industry members, vendors and the public. Our Goal The International Caterers Association is dedicated to the education of the catering industry by supporting, promoting and improving all aspects of the catering business. The ICA pursues this goal by producing publications, seminars, workshops and demonstrations for trade and industry organizations throughout the year.
Our History The foundation of the ICA was laid in 1981 when a visionary group of off-premise caterers founded the National Off-Premise Caterers Roundtable. The founders recognized the need for an industry association to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. Later renamed the National Caterers Association and finally the International Caterers Association, the organization has grown in both size and scope to become an international force in the industry. Currently we have over 1,000 members throughout the world. Member Profile The International Caterers Association membership is comprised of both off-premise and on-premise caterers from around the globe. Our international focus reflects a worldwide approach to the industry and addresses the need to effectively educate caterers on a global level. Membership is open to all qualified caterers, chefs, students, event planners, bridal consultants, suppliers and industry vendors.

ICA Vendor Membership Annual Benefits Increase your visibility in the Industry:
E-Blasts: Vendor Members receive the opportunity to have the ICA send 1 email blast annually to promote their products and/or services to all members. ICA Social Media: Upon receiving your membership application, your company will be announced as a new Vendor Member on the ICA Facebook and Twitter Page which will include a link to your company web site. Access to On-Line Membership Directory: With your user name and password, access contact information for all ICA members including caterers, fellow Vendor Members and our Corporate Sponsors at internationalcaterers.org. ICA Vendor YouTube Channel: Each vendor will be permitted to upload one product or company video feature to the ICA branded YouTube channel each year. Vendors will be notified of the deadline for submissions.
